At the conclusion of the 2021-22 season, Prep Hoops Missouri will be selecting the Mr. Basketball Award for the top Class of 2022 player in the state.

We have put together a Mr. Basketball Watch List with the Top 20+ candidates for the award. Players are represented in all six classes and from different regions of the state. They are listed in alphabetical order.

 

 

Jordan Andrews Jordan Andrews 6'0" | CG Thayer | 2022 State MO (Thayer): The 6’0 guard has been tremendous in leading top-ranked Thayer to a 19-1 record and a couple of tournament championships. Red Buckets is averaging 19.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.9 assists while shooting 54 percent from the field and 39 percent from 3-point range.

 

Alex Benassi Alex Benassi 6'3" | PG Lee's Summit | 2022 State MO (Lee’s Summit): The 6’3" point guard has led the Tigers to a 17-1 record. He is averaging 14.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.3 steals while shooting 44 percent from 3-point range.
