1- Irmo HS (21-4)
The Yellow Jackets finish the regular season as region champions. Dylan Williams Dylan Williams 5'11" | PG Irmo | 2022 State SC 16.3 ppg, Julian Kiett Julian Kiett 6'3" | CG Irmo | 2022 State SC 13.6 ppg and Brandon Crawford Brandon Crawford 6'10" | PF Irmo | 2023 State SC 12.4 ppg are just 3 of the pieces on this roster for Head Coach Tim Whipple.
2- AC Flora HS (20-5)
The Falcons and Irmo battled it out in region play. Collin Murray-Boyles Collin Murray-Boyles 6'7" | PF AC Flora | 2023 #209 Nation UT and Chris Parker Chris Parker 6'5" | SF A.C. Flora | 2023 State SC have led the way all season for the Falcons. Murray-Boyles a versatile combo forward and Parker a small forward are just juniors on the roster.
3- West Florence HS (21-3)
The Knights rely on the Big 4 for Head Coach Kevin Robinson. Darren Lloyd Darren Lloyd 5'8" | PG West Florence | 2023 State SC 14.6 ppg, Deuce Hudson Deuce Hudson 5'11" | PG West Florence | 2023 State SC 14.3 ppg, Bryson Graves Bryson Graves 6'1" | SG West Florence | 2023 State SC 12.3 ppg and Valerian Bruce Valerian Bruce 6'3" | SF West Florence | 2022 State SC 12.3 ppg.
4- Wilson HS (18-5)
The Tigers won the region over West Florence and Hartsville HS this past week. The Tigers coached by former University of South Carolina Gamecock Carlos Powell have plenty of bodies to throw at teams. Zandae Butler Zandae Butler 6'2" | CG Wilson | 2023 SC 13.2 ppg, Dominick Jones Dominick Jones 6'3" | PG West Florence | 2023 State SC 10.9 and Jevon Brown Jevon Brown 6'0" | SG Wilson | 2023 State SC 10 points lead the way in double figures.
5- South Pointe HS (12-5)
The Stallions the defending Class 4A State Champions come in at #5. The Stallions are currently (7-0) in region play. Syracuse bound football player Quan Peterson Quan Peterson 6'2" | PG South Pointe | 2022 State SC leads the way.
6- Travelers Rest HS (16-6)
The Devildogs have a big region matchup today with Easley HS. Travelers Rest is currently (6-1) behind Easley HS (7-0). Jacob Brown Jacob Brown 6'5" | PF Travelers Rest | 2022 State SC will play basketball and volleyball next season at nearby North Greenville University (NCAA D2).
7- Hartsville HS (18-8)
The Red Foxes fell to Darlington HS to close out the season this week. Jamari Briggs Jamari Briggs 6'6" | CG Christ | 2024 State NC is averaging 17.8 ppg this season while Kameron Foman Kameron Foman 6'4" | SF Hartsville | 2023 State SC comes in at 11.5 ppg and 9.8 rebounds.
8- Catawba Ridge HS (20-5)
The Copperheads have gotten to 20 wins with great balance scoring all year long. Grant Lovette Grant Lovette 6'2" | SG Catawba Ridge | 2023 State SC 12.9 ppg, Zyan Hager Zyan Hager 6'1" | SG Catawba Ridge | 2024 State SC 9.3 ppg, Carter Hendrick Carter Hendrick 6'5" | SF Catawba Ridge | 2022 State SC 8.6 ppg and Landon Foley 7.9 ppg. Can the Copperheads keep it going when it comes to playoff time?
9- North Augusta HS (15-8)
The Yellow Jackets have looked to win the region this season under Head Coach Tony Harrell. North Augusta HS will rely on Austin Harrell Austin Harrell 6'0" | SG North Augusta | 2022 State SC , Elijah Hall Elijah Hall 6'0" | CG North Augusta | 2023 State SC and Daron Dunbar Daron Dunbar 6'4" | SG North Augusta | 2025 State SC to make some noise in the playoffs starting next week.
10- Lancaster HS (18-6)
The Bruins play in the same region with South Pointe HS and Catawba Ridge HS. Junior Grayson Kirk Grayson Kirk 6'2" | CG Lancaster | 2023 State SC and Freshman Jordan Watford Jordan Watford 6'4" | CG Lancaster | 2025 State #180 Nation SC has been a solid 1-2 punch all season long for the Bruins. Kirk is averaging 18.6 ppg this year while Watford chips in with 12 ppg.
Receiving Votes – James Island HS (16-7) and Greenville HS (15-5)
