Kaleb Schaffer Kaleb Schaffer 6'5" | PF Bishop Ready | 2023 State OH (2023). F 6’5. Bishop Ready
Schaffer put on a show in a big-time game for Bishop Ready on Friday night. In front of a packed gym, he left everyone impressed. Schaffer is a 6’5 very long stretch forward. He has some very nice size and it helps him in the post by making some very strong moves. He has some great off-the-ball movement and reads screens perfectly. His high IQ can also be seen when with his very nice vision. He has a big second half and showed off his three-point shot. He has a very nice shot and when he sees one go in, many more will follow.
Cole Rhett Cole Rhett 6'7" | C Bishop Watterson | 2023 State OH (2023). F 6’6. Bishop Watterson
Rhett is listed at 6’6 and is a big presence in the paint. He is a very big and strong kid that moves very well for his size. I loved Rhett’s motor. He competed for all game long and put 100% effort into guarding smaller and faster players. His size helped him out greatly on that. Watterson needed to give him the ball every possession because of his skillset. Ready had to double him in the post and he killed them with his ability to find the open guy. He is a very nice playmaker with his back to the basket.
Ian Rodeinger (2023). F 6’5. Grandview Heights
Rodeinger is a very nice throwback post player. He has great footwork and is very patient in the post. He is very tough and fights for every board and bucket. He uses his pivot foot very well to find the angle and put the ball in the rim. He is a relentless finisher because he never gives up on the play.
Elijah Hughes (2023). F 6’5. Whitehall Yearling
I really like Hughes’ game. He is very raw but has some sneaky good skills. He is very nice in transition and can finish with the best of them because of his size and leaping ability. He is a very strong and well-built kid with a wide frame. He is a next-level athlete as well. He has great bounce and moves as if he is 6’0, but is willing and bangs down low on both ends.
