Bishop Heelan | 2024
State
IA
| SF | Heelan
The move: 12 to 8
A 6-5 combo forward who has shown his ability to score from all three levels at an efficient clip for the Crusaders, Noll leads the team in scoring (14.5), rebounding (7.8), and is shooting 41.4% from behind the arc. With his size, athleticism, and shooting, he’ll be a coveted prospect as he continues to improve his ball-handling and ability to create his own shots.

| PG | Xavier
The move: 14 to 9
Bean has been dealing with an injury and played in just seven games so far for the Saints, but is expected back soon. The 6-2 point guard has proven to be a high-level scorer and distributor in his first seven varsity contests, averaging 14.0 points and 3.7 assists while shooting nearly 39% from the arc. He’s a high IQ point guard who can score from all three levels, create for others, and he has some defensive versatility with his size, length, and toughness.

| PF | Winfield-Mt. Union
The move: 41 to 14
An explosive 6-4 athlete, Buffington has already committed to play football at Iowa, but it’s impossible to ignore the impact and potential he has on the hardwood as well. He’s averaging 19.4 points, 11.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.5 blocks a game for the Wolves with highly impressive efficiency numbers. He’s a fantastic athlete who finishes with authority around the rim, rebounds really well, and is a versatile defender.

Kennedy | 2024
State
IA
| SG | Kennedy
The move: 27 to 19
Courtney is listed at 6-1 on Kennedy’s roster, but plays bigger than that with his length and the way he uses his athleticism to impact the game. He’s a really good on-ball defender with good lateral movement and hands, and he also has excellent instincts on when to jump passing lanes. Offensively, he’s a three-level scorer who can get to the rim, knock down shots at a fairly efficient clip from 3, and has a nice mid-range game. He could be a player that skyrockets into the top-10 with a strong summer.
Jack Cooley

Clarke | 2024

| PF | Clarke
The move: 34 to 22
A 6-4 stat-sheet stuffer, Cooley is helping to lead Clarke to their best year in a decade-plus. He’s athletic and does a little bit of everything, averaging 21.2 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 5.1 assists a game while showing the ability to get to the rim and knock down jumpers.
David Gorsline

Pleasant Valley | 2024
State
IA
| SF | Pleasant Valley
The move: 37 to 25
Gorsline is listed at 6-0 but plays bigger than that. He doesn’t back down from anyone, is a versatile defender, and a fantastic rebounder who has accounted for nearly a third of PV’s rebounds this season. He knows his limitations and doesn’t stray outside of his strengths, scoring at an efficient clip and providing value with his defensive versatility.
Scott Harr

Hampton-Dumont | 2024
State
IA
| C | Hampton-Dumont
The move: 46 to 30
Harr is a physical 6-4/6-5 big man who plays with a relentless motor and is a force on the glass on both ends of the floor. He’s averaging 11.6 points and 11.1 rebounds, including 4.3 on the offensive end, for the Bulldogs this year. He’ll need to continue adding some range to his game, especially if he doesn’t grow more, but he’s fantastic on the glass.
Jacob Simpson

Simpson

Johnston | 2024
IA
| PF | Johnston
The move: 54 to 42
Simpson is a 6-5 power forward who has provided really strong minutes on both ends of the floor for one of 4A’s best teams this season, averaging 4.9 points and 5.4 rebounds off the bench. He’s an efficient finisher around the rim and shoots free throws at a high clip, showing that he may be able to add some range to his game down the line.
