Trey Robertson Trey Robertson 5'10" | PG Waverly | 2022 State OH , 5’10 PG Waverly 2022: Robertson is one of the leading scorers in southeast Ohio and is a complete offensive point guard. Robertson clearly spends a ton of time in the gym, a skill you can tell after watching him once. Robertson draws a lot of double teams and does a good job of putting his teammates in spots to score. The one question about Robertson will be who he defends at the next level with his height, but I’m a firm believer in his work ethic and him figuring out a way.
Kollin Tolbert Kollin Tolbert 6'1" | CG Fairfield | 2022 State OH , 6’1 CG Fairfield 2022: Tolbert and Fairfield are atop the GMC and his scoring ability has provided a spark for the Indians. Tolbert can create for himself at a high level and also defends on ball with tough defense. Tolbert fell off the radar a little bit after not playing in the OHSAA as a Junior but should be back on scholarship radars based on his play this season.
Mason Weisbrodt Mason Weisbrodt 6'8" | C Batavia | 2022 State OH , 6’8 C Batavia 2022: Weisbordt is putting up NUMBERS for Batavia this season. At 25.7 PPG and 8.0 RPG, Weisbordt is one of the most productive bigs in the state. Currently with offers from Delta State and Thomas Moore, I think more interest is certainly deserving for Weisbordt.
Layne Sarver Layne Sarver 6'4" | SF Tri-Village | 2022 State OH , 6’6 SF Tri-Village 2022: Sarver looks much more confident this winter than over the summer when I watched him and it’s exciting to see the possibilities of what he could lead Tri-Village to in a playoff run this season. Sarver has the size to shoot over smaller defenders and is a match-up problem at the small school level. Sarver even almost carried his team to a road victory over Mason to open the season, if I were a college coach interested in recruiting Sarver, that would be my game to watch.
Quinn Corna Quinn Corna 6'3" | SG Upper Arlington | 2022 State OH , 6’3 SG Upper Arlington 2022: Another player leading his team to new heights this season, Corna has his Upper Arlington Golden Bears unbeaten at this stage of the season. Corna and Nick Heath Nick Heath 6'4" | SF Upper Arlington | 2022 State OH form a solid wing scoring duo with the ability to space the floor, making it easy for Upper Arlington to run their offense. Corna should be a high, high priority for Division III coaches around the area, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he got some scholarship interest as well.
