HONORABLE MENTIONS
Noah Adamczyk Noah Adamczyk 6'0" | PG Bloomfield Hills | 2023 State MI (2023, PG, Bloomfield Hills)
Adamnczyk led his team as they defeated Harper Woods by a score of 62-50. Once again, he put the ball on the floor and simply made plays. Adamczyk finished with 29 points.
Jorden Brooks Jorden Brooks 6'3" | SF Grand Rapids Catholic Central | 2022 State MI (2022, G/F, Grand Rapids Catholic Central)
Brooks shared the scoring lead for his team with 20 points in an impressive win over Wayland. Brooks continues to prove that he’s a shot maker and physical presence.
Stevie Elam Stevie Elam 6'2" | CG Adrian | 2025 State MI (2025, PG, Adrian)
Adrian isn’t going anywhere anytime soon with a young star like Elam. In his team’s impressive win over Lakeview, he scored 21 points, had 5 steals, and grabbed 4 rebounds.
Sam Hoskin Jr. (2022, PF, Detroit Renaissance)
College coaches heads are turning. Hoskin was terrific in one of the best games of the night. Renaissance picked up the win in overtime against a tough Detroit Pershing squad. Hoskin simply dominated the paint with a double-double performance. He scored an efficient and effective 25 points and grabbed a huge 18 rebounds.
Ryan Kiesling Ryan Kiesling 6'4" | SF Mattawan | 2023 State MI (2023, SF, Mattawan)
Mattawan has a difference maker on their hands. Kiesling led the way in a 58-43 win over Plainwell. He touched the 4 corners of the stat sheet with 21 points, 5 assists, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals.
Bryce Kurncz Bryce Kurncz 6'2" | SF DeWitt | 2023 State MI (2023, SF, DeWitt)
Hid DeWitt squad was defeated by a tough Holt team, but Kurncz continued to impress. He led his team with 32 points in the game.
Duncan Moffitt Duncan Moffitt 5'10" | PG Jackson Northwest | 2024 State MI (2024, PG, Jackson Northwest)
Moffitt continues to turn heads this season. He’s a shot maker that can also find his teammates and deliver the ball. In a win over Hastings, Moffitt scored 21 points.
Tayshaun Nathan Tayshaun Nathan SG Taylor Trillium | 2023 MI (2023, SG, Trillium Academy)
Nathan has been playing really good basketball since an impressive Flight Hankamp Open Run performance in the fall. He scored a game high 20 points on the way to a win. Nathan was bouncy under the rim, grabbing 9 rebounds.
Deunte Phifer Deunte Phifer 6'4" | SG Lansing Waverly | 2024 State MI (2024, SG, Lansing Waverly)
The more I see and hear, the bigger fan of Phifer’s game I become. He can flat out play. Phifer led the way to a 69-59 win over Lansing Everett, scoring a game high 21 points.
Michael Sulaka Michael Sulaka 6'8" | C Warren De La Salle | 2023 State MI (2023, PF, De La Salle)
Sulaka was key in a huge 49-46 victory against UD Jesuit. It wasn’t his numbers that impressed, but his overall influence on the game. Sulaka’s quickly becoming an elite post defender and it was obvious last night.
Brady Titus Brady Titus 5'10" | PG Tri-Unity Christian | 2022 State MI (2022, PG, Tri-Unity Christian)
Titus’ team may have fallen, but once again, he rose to the top. He finished the loss against a tough Fenville team with an incredibly efficient 30 points. Titus also added 5 assistS.
Greg Wilkinson (2022, PF, Fowlerville)
Wilkinson had a big time game in a 74-48 win over Owosso. He went off, scoring 26 points and also grabbing 9 rebounds. Wilkinson has been a consistent double figure scorer and always seems to grab close to 10 boards.
MOP
Daquan Coleman Daquan Coleman 6'2" | CG Bendle | 2022 State MI (2022, PG, Bendle)
Bendle had an impressive win over Clio. Once again, Coleman absolutely erupted on the offensive end. He lit up the scoreboard with an eye popping 40 points. Coleman is going to make a college coach a very lucky man. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: COLEMAN CAN GO WITH ANYONE IN THE STATE.
