Dallas Hobbs Dallas Hobbs 6'1" | PG Dynamic Prep Academy | 2023 State TX 2022 6’1 Waxahachie Faith Family Academy
Dallas is a skilled point guard who reads the floor well on both ends. He has a tight handle and an ability to break down the defense with his dribble moves. He is great at utilizing his steps to create space for himself as he attacks the rim, showing off impressive hop steps and euros to free himself up. In the full court he made creative and crisp passes to keep the defense off guard and put his teammates in a position to score. He thrives at playing on the break and always seems to pick out the right pass whenever it is available. He seems to play at a million miles an hour but is always under control. His ability to read the game really stood out and makes him a dangerous prospect.
Isaiah Foster Isaiah Foster 6'0" | PG Frisco Memorial | 2022 State TX 2022 6’1 Frisco Memorial High School
Isaiah is a creative point guard who thrives in setting up his teammates and attacking the rim. The pressure he is able to put on the defense by his constant aggression and ability to beat defenders off the dribble allows him to thrive. He is great at getting downhill but has a special court awareness to him, always seeming to pick out the right pass to set up his teammates. He always made the right reads when operating out of the pick and roll, and made special passes to get the ball through the defense. He is great at wearing down a defense over the course of a game too, he starts off hot and attacking the rim. By the second half, the defense is expecting him to blow by them and into the paint, and he calmly crosses them over and takes what they give him in the midrange or beyond the arc.
Nazir Brown Nazir Brown 6'1" | PG Coppell | 2022 State TX 2022 6’1 Coppell High School
Nazir is a sharp shooting guard who thrives in spacing the floor and being a consistent shooting option for his team. He is capable of shooting off the catch and is efficient after beating a defender off the dribble. He is great at getting to his spots beyond the arc and in the midrange and is fearless at attacking the rim given his size. He is a consistent option on the offensive end. On defense he is great at timing up steals from skilled ball handlers and reading the passing lanes. He got plenty of easy opportunities at the other end as a result of his hard work. I would like to see him work on adding more finishing moves to his bag, as well as operating out of the triple threat.
Marsalis Brandon Marsalis Brandon 6'0" Rockville | 2022 TX 2022 6’0 Rockville High School
Marsalis is an elite combo guard who knows how to move without the basketball. He always seems to be open by finding weak spots in the defense whether it was cutting behind the defender’s backs or running his man into a back screen and freeing himself for an open look. He is great at getting to his one to two dribble pull-up. He even possesses a soft floater in the lane he can get to and get over bigger players. He is great at drawing attention with and without the ball and creates a plethora of looks for his teammates this way. I would like to see him work on his ability to speed up the release of his jumper and finishing underneath the rim.
LaTavien Denson 2022 Fort Bend Marshall High School
LaTavien is a true point guard with real vision and ability to set up his teammates for easy looks. His ball handling and ability to beat his even elite defenders off the dribble was very impressive. He is great at driving and dishing and finishes very well for his size. He does not mind going up with bigger defenders, and even finished a few layups while drew hard fouls. He plays the game with a true intensity and is relentless and scrappy on both sides of the floor.
