Cashion did a good job of walling off drives, and prevented the quick and strong guard from living at the rim. But that didn’t stop him from making an impact on the game. His passing was outstanding on the night, as he picked apart apart the Cashion defense and set up his teammates with easy score after score. When he needed to add his scoring punch, he did so efficiently.
In the fourth quarter he helped seal the game. With Dale running clock, Cashion sent a double team. Forsythe used his handles and strength to spilt it, and then made another amazing pass for an easy score. Next time down, he drilled a pull up three pointer. That sequence effectively closed the door on any comeback attempt by the Wildcats.

A baby faced assassin for the Pirates, the youngster was the smallest player on the court but rarely looked flustered. He handled the pressure well, made good decisions and was a key part of keeping the offense flowing for Dale.
Jett Higdon, 6’3 Freshman Forward, Dale
Another freshman who started for Dale, Higdon was one of the biggest beneficiaries of Forsythe’s passing exploits. He was a sure handed finisher around the rim. And played a big role in rebounding and even taking a charge on the defensive end.
Vance Raney Vance Raney 6'2" | PG Cashion | 2022 State OK , 6’2 Senior Guard, Cashion

Given that the Dale sophomore has D1 traits in athleticism and ball handling, it was a big test for Raney. Which he rose to the occasion and did a fantastic job of cutting off Forsythe from living at the rim. The Cashion Wildcat’s ability to move his feet and play disciplined defense was impressive and a good sign for his next level chances.
