6’9 Lyman Simmons Lyman Simmons 6'10" | PF RSL Academy | 2023 State UT || Snow Canyon High School || 2023 ||
Lyman has evolved his game over the past few years as he can step out and shoot the three ball and hit that mid-range consistently. On the blocks with his back to the basket he can keep the ball away from defenders going over both shoulders. Lyman has a long wingspan that goes beyond 7’0. Deep in the post he can finish through contact and he is a big part of his team currently being undefeated
6’9 Keba Keita Keba Keita 6'9" | C Wasatch Academy | 2022 State #157 Nation UT || Wasatch Academy || 2022 ||
Keba is playing on a different level literally and figuratively. Keba is protecting the rim with the best bigs in the country. He is roaming the paint and he is tracking players down. He has major brute strength that he uses on the blocks. Keba tries to break the rim every dunk. Keba is a D1 talent that could land at a Pac-12 school as they seem to be courting him the most.
6’8 Jack Wistrcill Jack Wistrcill 6'8" | PF Olympus | 2022 State UT || Olympus High School || 2022 ||
Good skill, he knows how to use his body and strength. He has a lot of IQ and his footwork continues to get better. Really like that he can dominate on either block. Jack is a big reason that Olympus is one of the best teams in the state. Jack has certified himself as one of the best bigs in the class. The D1 bound big man is the real deal.
6’9 Malick Diallo Malick Diallo 6'9" | C Wasatch Academy | 2024 State #131 Nation UT || Juan Diego Catholic || 2024 ||
This kid can run the floor. He is an athlete that can go up and grab anything thrown near the rim. Although he does display some outside touch he is most effective near the rim. Great rim protector as well. Malick has been attracting a lot of D1 talent. When he is done playing 3A basketball he will need to increase his level of play in order to prove himself against other D1 bigs.
6’7 Devin Carlson Devin Carlson 6'8" | SF Bingham | 2022 State UT || Bingham High School || 2022 ||
One of the emerging bigs in the state. Although Devin is a 4 he is solid near the rim. He can block shots with his athleticism and turn around and run the floor and get easy buckets. Devin has a solid left hand game on the blocks which he likes to go to which makes him difficult to defend because he’s right handed. Devin is getting looked at by a few small schools and holds a few offers. Devin has the tools to really pop once he is in college.
