Nothings gets a team going and the crowd roaring when someone gets up and throws one down on someone or even on a fast break. Here is a small list of a few of these prospects getting up above the rim and making noise.
6’5 CG Collin Chandler Collin Chandler 6'5" | CG Farmington | 2022 State #28 Nation UT || Farmington High School || 2022 ||
Talk about a kid with stupid bounce. Collin goes up and pulls down some crazy passes and throws them down. Not only is he dunking on people he is simply flying all over the place and he makes the crowd get very electric. With Collin the newly McDonalds All-American nominee it isn’t a matter of when it is a matter of how many he will get in a game. The future BYU Cougar is a high flyer.
6’8 W Jaxon Heiden Jaxon Heiden 6'9" | PF Alta | 2022 State UT || Alta High School || 2022 ||
It is so good seeing a player like Jaxon stay healthy and truly play his game this year. With his quick witted moves to the rim he is out there attacking the rim with the best of them. He has really elevated his game and he is starting to get courted by various colleges at different levels. Although his is out there dunking the ball Jaxon has a nice perimeter game to go along with his above the rim play.
6’5 G Kam Dupaix Kam Dupaix 6'5" | CG Bingham | 2022 State UT || Bingham High School || 2022 ||
Kam has surprised a lot of people this season especially college recruiters as he has shown he can play 1-4 and he has displayed a lot of confidence attacking the rim in various ways. Kam is surging up the rankings as a top unsigned senior that can really score at all three-level, but more importantly he can defend.
6’3 G David Katoa David Katoa 6'4" | CG Layton | 2024 State #255 Nation UT || RSL Academy || 2024 ||
The Layton product has always been a bit bouncy but he is really taking his attack mode to another level. David is shooting the ball well which allows him to get a first step on defenders playing him too high.
6’4 G Carter Walker Carter Walker 6'5" | CG Orem | 2022 State UT || Orem High School || 2022 ||
Carter is a high flyer and his timing is great. He can time his jumps really well. He can get up and flush them flat footed under the rim and off of a jab step he is dangerous as he can put anyone on a poster. While he is very active on defense it leads to quick breaks and quick flushes. Love his creativity at the rim. Will be a steal at the next level.
