AAAA Thoughts. First off, Hopkins lost to Wayzata and Farmington upset Shakopee since we updated the Class AAAA top tens here so they will both likely be dropping a tad from the start of the week and rank similar to the QRF. QRF has Osseo as 11 so they are right there. Very similar. Owatonna is the one difference there and they are a very good 8-2 team.

AAA Thoughts. Again, pretty similar. Orono and Alexandria lost games this week so they will drop in the AAA rankings when the new rankings come out next Monday. The big difference is DeLaSalle is 21st in the QRF which seems quite steep when you consider the schedule they have played. Simley is good this year at 9-2 and their recent win over North Branch has them in a good standing rankings wise as well. They also get local rival South St Paul tonight. So, pretty similar I would say.

- Lake City
- Rockford

- Pipestone Area
- Crosby-Ironton

AA Thoughts. Caledonia at seven. Maybe it’s the out of state teams, maybe its them not playing enough teams that are above Class AA, I don’t know. But yeah that’s a big one. Annandale just beat Rockford so that will be reflected in both both Monday. Maple River is 11 in QRF so they are right there. PEM is 12-0 but 17th in QRF, don’t agree with that. Blake just lost to Mound-Westonka by 15 so they will slip in our rankings but not down to 34 liekt eh QRF. LCWM is 26 in QRF. Lake City is on the verge of being back into the top ten. Overall you know that it’s not going to be as close for the smaller classes simply because there are so many teams and then you have the scheduling influence of who you play. But I think it’s reasonably close, or at least closer than I expected.

- Nevis
A Thoughts. Remember Nevis just beat Cherry so they are likely to jump them in our next rankings. I am honestly quite surprised at how well these match-up. Keep in mind, Rushford-Peterson and Goodhue will get bumps as they play a lot of AA teams. Ashby is 12th in QRF so they are right there. Central MN Christian is right there with the A rankings too so very close.
