South View HS Senior Forward Jarod Brown Jarod Brown 6'4" | SF South View | 2022 State NC : His team played in back-to-back games on Monday and Tuesday against two teams that have some of the better Forwards in the area. In those two matchups, Brown was amazing on the boards, pulling down an average of twenty-one rebounds per contest, which pushes his average up to over ten rebounds per game this year.
Greenfield School Senior Forward Aaron Murphy Aaron Murphy 6'5" | SF Greenfield | 2022 State NC : His squad had a bigtime rematch with WCD, a team they lost to earlier this season, and Murphy was one of the players that had a bigtime game for his team. The Queens university signee scored twenty-seven points and pulled down nineteen rebounds to help his team get the win and increase their record to eighteen wins and five losses.
Salem Baptist Senior Forward Saylor Schott Saylor Schott 6'7" | SF Salem Baptist | 2022 State NC : He’s averaging over six rebounds per game this season, but he put together one of his best performances on Thursday against DDS. In that matchup he scored seventeen points, but he also pulled down twelve rebounds to help his squad pull off the win.
Ridgecroft Senior Caleb Porter: Currently sitting at the fifth overall spot, averaging over thirteen rebounds per game, he clearly has made a high amount of impact on the boards. His team took their first loss of the season this week, but he did everything in his power to help them pull off the win, scoring twenty-five points and pulling down ten rebounds.
Northeastern HS Senior Kaveon Freshwater: This season he’s averaging seventeen points and eleven rebounds while his team has been able to obtain a record of ten wins and one loss so far. In their matchup with Pasquotank County, he didn’t score the ball much, but he made a nice impact on the boards, pulling down ten rebounds in the win.
