Cameron Thrower Cameron Thrower 6'3" | SG Harvard-Westlake | 2022 State CA-S , Harvard-Westlake – Thrower looked to be fully-healthy and had bounce back in his step as he came out strong in the Wolverines’ big win over Birmingham. The 6-foot-3 UPenn-commit hit four three-pointers and went 5-for-6 from the free throw line as he scored a game-high 23 points. Thrower is an elite catch-and-shoot threat in SoCal’s 2022 class and has consistently improved upon his ball skills and decision-making over the last four years.
Gabriel Cummings Gabriel Cummings 6'2" | SG Long Beach Poly | 2022 State CA-S , Long Beach Poly – Cummings used the big stage to show that he’s one of the best shooters in the region. The 6-foot-2 lefty has as smooth and consistent of a stroke as you’ll find in SoCal and showed that with his six three-point makes en route to a team high 20 points. Cummings scored 18 of his 20 in a first half that saw him get hot quickly from deep.
Jayden Bush Jayden Bush 6'0" | PG St. Anthony | 2022 CA-S , St. Anthony – Bush is the consummate floor general and commanded the late-game situations for the Saints to help lead them to a victory. The lefty point guard, who is committed to Division II Dominican University, stayed cool, calm and collected down the stretch, focused on ball security and clock management all while scoring an efficient 13 points.
Jaden Henley, Colony – Sometimes it’s hard for a starting five to score 19 points combined against Etiwanda’s defense, but Henley managed to get loose for that number himself in the Titans one-point loss to the Eagles. The 6-foot-7 Minnesota-commit had his usual versatile scoring package on display complete with deep three-point shots and tough drives and finishes through the teeth of the defense.
Jake Goldberg, St. Francis – Goldberg has really elevated his overall game this season. The 6-foot-4 guard is all energy and toughness on both ends of the floor and has mixed in some skill to that fold as well. Goldberg has turned into a knock-down catch and shoot guy from three-point range and his speed and athleticism allows him to get to the rack and finish over length and through contact. Goldberg finished with 20 points in the win over Poly.
Khemanni Davis Khemanni Davis 6'3" | SG Rancho Verde | 2022 State CA-S , Rancho Verde – Davis has a bit of a throwback feel to his game as he uses the mid-range area of the floor to his advantage. The 6-foot-3 shooting guard can face-up and shoot from 15 to 17 feet, but also has the strength to rip left or right, find contact, and score in the painted area. Davis scored a game-high 22 points in the win over Oak Hills.
