Takai Emerson-Hardy Takai Emerson-Hardy 6'7" | SF Vanden | 2022 State CA-N 6’7 F, of Vanden
Emerson-Hardy is one of the best unsigned Seniors in NorCal. He’s playing at a high level right now producing double-doubles regularly. Over the last few games we’ve seen his jump shot go down. His ability to score inside makes him real hard to guard when he’s knocking down the outside shot. 24pts, 6rebs, 1 block.
Cade Bennett Cade Bennett 6'0" | PG Campolindo | 2022 State CA-N 6’1 PG of Campolindo
Bennett has been on a steady rise playing point guard on the #1 team in NorCal. His basketball IQ and skills show up regularly in games. No flash, just good fundamentals. He limits his turnovers, and mistakes to a minimum, and is somewhat efficient at what he’s doing on the court. He’s not going to stuff the stat sheets in scoring, but he will make the shots he takes. 10pts, 8rebs, 5asts, 5stls.
Matt Radell Matt Radell 6'6" | PF Campolindo | 2022 State CA-N 6’6 PF of Campolindo
Radell has been a solid contributor to the #1 team in NorCal. He’s now starting to get the recognition for his play on the court. His quality play inside adds more options to this team. He’s more aggressive going at bigger players in the post area. His jump hook was working, he attacks from baseline, and faces up from mid-post. He works to defend and rebound. He was good at the high post setting screens, finding cutters for back door assists 15pts.
Andre Warren Andre Warren 6'3" | CG Lincoln Stockton | 2022 State CA-N 6’4 PG of Lincoln Stockton
Warren is now one of the primary ball handlers on this team. He’s a good passer with the vision to spot open teammate up the court, and on the penetration and kick. He plays with body control to maneuver his way in for points in the paint. He does a good job defending on the perimeter and will help with the team rebounding. 14pts.
Kevin Karney 5’8 CG of Sacred Heart Prep
Karney presents a threat with his ability to knock down 3’s in transition, there’s no hesitation on the shot. He plays good on ball defense, and can generates turnovers with his activity on defense. He’s been an important player for a team that’s 13-3 and looking to win their league. He’s averaging 11.3pts a game. He had three 3-pts in this game.
Emmer Nichols Emmer Nichols 6'5" | PF Sacred Heart Prep | 2022 State CA-N 6’6 G/F of Sacred Heart Prep
Nichols provides size and muscle to help guard bigs in the post area. He’s a big body with decent handles. He can handle the ball in transition, and in half-court sets. He’s aggressive when looking for his shots on the perimeter. He’s been a solid contributor, and is productive enough to join the double-double club with his work on the boards. He’s averaging 10.8pts, and 8.4rebs.
Cameron Brown Cameron Brown 6'2" | CG Bishop O Dowd | 2022 State CA-N 6’3 SG of bishop O’Dowd
Brown has been a consistent performer. He’s the teams leading scorer, and best defender. He defends with good intensity out on the perimeter, and has the foot speed to stay in front of defenders up the court. He runs hard in transition looking to fill lanes. At 6’3 he’ll battle for rebounds, and score inside. In this game he had 17pts, 3rebs, 3asts, 2stls.
Chris Sanders Chris Sanders 6'7" | PF Salesian Prep | 2022 State CA-N 6’6 F of Salesian Prep.
Sanders was making his presence felt in the absence of two starters at this event. He worked hard going after blocks, and rebounds out of his area. He has long arms and jumps well defending in the paint. He’ll get a bucket going up high and strong. Sanders could be a late bloomer. He has a solid body and plenty of room to grow his game.
