Graham Stevens (6’6/Center/2022)
School: Jackson Academy
Instagram: Instagraham4742
Twitter: @Graham4742
Graham was highly active on both ends of the court. He brought a lot of energy to the floor and stayed within his role for his squad. He battled hard on the glass and got some easy put-backs off the offensive glass. He worked hard to establish position on the low block. Even though he did not get a lot of paint touches off post-entry passes, his strong posting and activity in the paint kept his defender occupied, which created paths for perimeter players to find space for their attack off the bounce.
In the match-up against St. Andrew’s, he finished with 8pts on 4-7 (57%) shooting.
He impacted the game in ways seen and not seen on the stat sheet. It was an intense battle on the boards that JA won 28-25, and Graham finished with 7 rebounds (3Off/4Def).
Braylyn Gray (6’6/Forward/2022)
School: Provine
Instagram: N/A
Twitter: @N/A
Braylyn was highly active on the boards as he went to the glass and showed that he is an energy effort guy. He chipped in 6pts on 2-5 (40%) shooting, but the strength of his game was crashing the boards, in which he was one of the best the entire day. Braylyn also defended well on the low block. He showed his competitive nature as he fought on both the offensive and defensive glass and had balanced numbers to show for it.
Braylyn finished with 8-rebounds (4Off/4Def), which led his team.
Bert Passman (6’6/Forward/2022)
School: Parklane Academy

Twitter: @BertPassman
Bert was one of the more physical players I saw at the Rumble. The interesting thing about Bert is that he plays alongside Jacob Gazzo, one of the top prospects in MS. Jacob himself is a beast on the boards, but Bert held his own producing big numbers off the glass. Bert kept possessions alive by his play on the offensive glass and finished defensive possessions by securing the rebounds.
Bert finished with 8pts on 2-7 (29%) shooting and grabbed 7-rebounds (2Off/5Def)
Jamaran Booth (6’5/Center/2023)
School: Murrah HS
Instagram: N/A
Twitter: @N/A
Jamaran led his squad with 7 rebounds (3Off/4Def) in 22-minutes of action. He did not shoot the ball well as he finished with 4pts on 2-10 (20%) shooting. Even though he couldn’t get it going scoring-wise, he helped his team by competing on the boards. Had not Jamaran’s presence on the glass been there in the time he was on the floor, the battle on the boards would have been highly lopsided.
His play on the glass was a bright spot for Murrah during their match-up against MRA.
Tylor Latham (5’9/Guard/2022)
School: MRA
Instagram: N/A
Twitter: @N/A
Tylor is the lone guard on this list, as he was one of the best rebounding guards that I saw the entire day. At 5’9, he just out-hustled Murrah players on the glass. Tylor actually led his team on the glass, finishing with 8-rebounds, all on the defensive end of the floor. Tylor finished with 4-points on 2-4 (50%) shooting.
It is evident that Tylor understands his role on the squad, and from my vantage point, he is extremely impactful and productive in doing so.
