6’0 G Jaxon Smith Jaxon Smith 6'1" | PG Woods Cross | 2023 State UT || Woods Cross High School || 2023 ||
A few years ago Jaxon was getting some reps as a QB but then the team went to a run only offense and he decided to focus on basketball and Jaxon is really playing well this season. Not only is he a knockdown shooter, his handle has been impressive. Huge game winner as time expires last night is just the tip of the iceberg as we are starting to see another solid player emerge out at Woods Cross.
6’4 G Jason Kereks || Riverton High School || 2023 ||
All year we have been getting a few bits and pieces of some of the talent that Jason possesses and last night he really put it together hitting 6 three’s in a nice win against Viewmont who has been playing well. Jason is hitting his stride right before region play were they will need him to core often, just as he is now with his solid inside-out game.
6’1 SG Kaden Cox Kaden Cox 6'0" | SG Ridgeline | 2022 State UT || Ridgeline High School || 2022 ||
Kaden was feeling it again as he went off to hold off a really good Grantsville team that would not go away. Kaden gets his fair amount of shots off but this kid could really score the ball and more looks always equal more points for this kid. Not only does he see the floor well in the court he gets a lot of that as a stud QB too. Could end up at Utah State as a PW.
6’2 G Ashton Anderson || Westlake High School || 2022 ||
We have been keeping an eye on Ashton. He has been playing some tough ball as of late and having him on one end of the floor and Dylan Jones Dylan Jones 6'6" | SG Westlake | 2022 State UT on the other end really makes them a tough team. Ashton is really picking it up, especially from deep as he has hit 14 three’s in the last five games.
6’2 G Jake Fitton Jake Fitton 6'2" | SG Mountain Ridge | 2022 State UT || Mountain Ridge High School || 2022 ||
Jake has been on the radar and he is quietly getting his game to a place that is making people notice him some more. Jake is a sure handed player that is willing to do whatever it takes to get a win. It will be good to see him matchup every night against the solid guards in Region 3. Keep an eye on him.
