Players Who Stood Out From The 2022 LIT

This past week was the annual boys Louisville Invitational Tournament. Male were crowned the 2022 champions after a win over Butler. Here are some players from the tournament that we think stood out among the rest:    Jordan McClure Jordan McClure 6'1" | PG Atherton | 2022 State KY -Atherton  Photo: Alan McClure  The senior guard had a solid showing for Atherton against Butler. McClure recorded 14 points. He gets to the basket well in transition and finishes strong. McClure would be a good pick up on a college roster next year. Jaden Schooler Jaden Schooler 6'1" | PG Fern Creek | 2022 State KY -Fern Creek  Schooler shot the lights out during the LIT. He led Fern Creek in scoring against Desales with 23 points, followed by 31 against PRP and 10 vs Butler. The senior gets to the rim and finishes very well.   College coaches would be getting a steel with Schooler.  Photo: Photosbylil   Mershon Dickerson-Butler  The 6’3 guard had a solid week in the LIT. Dickerson led Butler in scoring against Fern Creek with 29 while also picking up 9 rebounds. He added 16 points vs Male in the final. Dickerson is a quick and shifty guard that defends well. Photo: Krispvisualz   Hunter Coleman Hunter Coleman 6'0" | CG Bullitt Central | 2022 State KY -Bullitt Central  The senior averaged 32.6 points over the three LIT games. He was also named to the LIT All Tournament Team. Coleman is a guard who displays good leadership and is always under control that can score at all 3 levels. Coleman would be a nice add on to a college roster.    Inslee Carroll Inslee Carroll 6'3" | SG Doss | 2022 State KY -Doss  Carroll stole the show for Doss during the LIT. The senior came in clutch like he has all year. He recorded 26 points vs Trinity along with 4 rebounds. In the semifinals, he scored 28 with 10 rebounds. Carroll has the ability to score from anywhere. The senior needs to be on the radar for a college program.         Dez Lindsay Dez Lindsay 6'6" | PF Male | 2022 State KY -Male  Lindsay had a game high of 23 points against Ballard to take Male to the LIT final. He finishes strong and is a game winner player on the court.  Photo: Meg Cam   Kennedy Hayden Kennedy Hayden 6'3" | CG Ballard | 2022 State KY -Ballard  Hayden had a game high of 31 points in the LIT. He was 3/4 at the 3-point line. He is a solid player who uses his size to his advantage. Hayden can shoot the lights out any night for Ballard.  Photo: D Stant Deadstock
