Here is part three of standout holiday Tournament performances in Massachusetts.
Louis Jennings Walpole, Class 2022, Position F
Louis helped Walpole win their holiday tournament over Dedham. In the finals, Louis had 16 points. Louis has guard skills, and can also play down low. In the finals Louis showed his versatile game, and how he can score in multiple ways. Louis also rebounded the ball well.
Liam McBride, Hingham, Position PG/SG, class 2023
In the championship game win against Liam had 24 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 three pointers. The Hingham team beat a strong Cambridge team in the first round, and a tough Westwood team in the championship. Liam has had a game with 7 three pointers this year. Liam is an excellent shooter, who moves without the ball really well, and gets to his spots quickly. Liam is a skilled guard showing he can take his game to high level.
Dexter Brown, Salem Academy, Position PF, HT 6’4, Class 2022
Dexter had 15 points in the tournament game. Dexter is a strong power forward who can impact the game in many ways. Dexter in the game showed his soft touch around the rim, scoring a few nice shots in the paint. Dexter also can stretch the floor and shoot the three. Dexter is an aggressive player, who has had multiple doubles this season.

Lynn English has been a strong team in recent years. In the first game against a tough ST Marry’s team Tyrese finished with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists. In the consolation game win against Boston Tech he had another standout game, and was named to the all tournament team. Tyrese is a strong and quick guard. He has great finishing skills at the rim, and has excellent court vision, and a high basketball IQ. He is proving his game can translate well to the college level.
Joey Dwyer, Pembroke, Position PG/SG, Class 2023
Joey had 2 strong performances over the holiday week. In one game against Archbishop Williams, Joey had 4 three pointers to go along with 22 points, 2 rebounds, and three assists. The lefty guard showed how he shoots the ball well, and gets to his spots fast, and can get his shot off quickly. Joey does a very good job moving with out the ball, and cuts very hard. Joey is a skilled guard, who is having a strong season so far.
