A few years ago, he introduced himself to high school basketball at the Prep Hoops Michigan Top 250, and he has been rolling ever since. Prep Hoops Michigan has Olafioye as the top ranked prospect in the state in the class of 2023. Prep Hoops also has him ranked at #40 in the nation in the class of 2023.
At 3PM today, Olafioye will be trimming his college list to 7. He has been actively recruited at the highest levels for years now. Olafioye currently holds 22 Division 1 offers. There are some very notable programs that have offered him including the likes of Boston College, Georgetown, Houston, Mississippi State, Oakland University, Rhode Island, Seton Hall, and UNLV.
There will be 7 college basketball programs that will be very excited later this afternoon. Olafioye is an exciting player that can put together a highlight reel in a matter of a few possessions. He’s dangerous off the dribble, where he can get a defender off balanced and rocking, then blow by him to the rim. Olafioye can attack and finish on both sides of the rim, shredding off contact along the way. He’s made huge strides in his overall strength and his ability to stroke a jumper from deep. The improvements are a big reason why he has been gaining steam nationally as a prospect.

He knows how to carry himself on and off the court and will be a great representative for any college basketball program. Olafioye has a unique combination of supreme confidence in himself and his game, that merges with a willingness and desire to be coached and to improve. He’s a program player that will be a fan favorite wherever he ends up after high school.
