I will continue to rollout new prospects as we begin 2022. Please feel free to reach out to me at my socials below for any player nomination. Click here for part one.
Myles Fuentes/Mason Fuentes – Westminster Academy
2027 Myles Fuentes and 2026 Mason Fuentes are going to be good basketball players here in South Florida. Both prospects have played significant minutes under the Lions’ tough schedule. They handle the ball well and don’t get phased in big moments. I like their confidence to attack the rim or spot up from the perimeter. You can tell by their ball skill and court awareness they have a bright future. Essentially, they are logging a ton of playing time before they reach high school. Their older brother, Maximus Fuentes Maximus Fuentes 6'2" | CG North Broward Prep | 2022 State FL , is a solid guard prospect for North Broward Prep.
Jessiah Pierre-Johnson Jessiah Pierre-Johnson 6'3" | PG Sagemont | 2023 FL2023 Jessiah Pierre-Johnson Jessiah Pierre-Johnson 6'3" | PG Sagemont | 2023 FL is having a good season with Avante Garde Academy. The 6-foot-3 guard is averaging 13.6 points and six rebounds per game. JPJ previously spent time at U-School and Sagemont. I have mentioned him in the past, but not yet this season. He has upside give his size and athleticism. JPJ has good bounce and should continue to improve as a three-level scorer. Against Elite Academy, he had 22 points and grabbed 11 boards.
Chancellor Wilson Chancellor Wilson 6'6" | SF Lake Worth Community | 2022 State FL – Lake Worth
2022 Chancellor Wilson Chancellor Wilson 6'6" | SF Lake Worth Community | 2022 State FL is a player with size and length at 6-foot-6. The forward prospect is averaging 10 points and 8.3 rebounds per game for the Trojans. Against Santaluces, Wilson had a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds (six offensive). Wilson should continue to improve his efficiency around the basket. Lake Worth is 8-2 with his help.
Damian Thompson – Santaluces
2023 Damian Thompson has some size and skill for the Chiefs. The 6-foot-2 guard prospect is averaging 11.6 points and 4.7 rebounds per game while shooting 43 percent from the floor. Thompson has increased his averages across the board from his sophomore season. Thompson scored 27 points on 9-of-17 shooting from the field against Atlantic. In addition, he went 5-of-8 from deep. Also a solid defender; Thompson has 25 steals and three or more in six games.
Andrew Sineway – St. Andrew’s
2023 Andrew Sineway is a nice player for the Scots. The 6-foot-6 forward is averaging 15.1 points and 5.4 rebounds per game while shooting 57 percent from the floor. Against St. Thomas Aquinas, Sineway had 15 points and five rebounds on 7-of-12 shooting from the floor. He has shown some range and been an excellent player on the glass on both ends. Sineway had eight offensive rebounds against Somerset Prep to go along with 20 points and six assists.
