Leo Gayman (Nevada): A 6’3 forward who is following in the footsteps of his older brothers Clay and Dalton, who were both All-State players. He is a solid offensive threat inside who can score with both hands around the basket. He can also step out and make 3-pointers. He also does a good job of rebounding out of his area.
Cole Kelly (Kirksville): A talented shooting guard who has been impressive this season. He was excellent in the championship game of the Macon Tournament against undefeated Mexico with 21 points, including five 3-pointers. His poise was just as impressive as his shooting stroke for a youngster who was playing in a big championship game in a packed gym.
Dierre Hill (Vashon): A 6’0″ guard who made an immediate impact on Vashon’s football team as an All-State running back. He’s also an excellent basketball player with good quickness and excellent on-ball defensive ability. He is also very effective when he’s slashing to the basket. He’s one of three very good freshman guards who’s seeing good minutes on the varsity for the Wolverines.
Max Rieger (Summit Christian): A 6’0″ guard who has stepped into the lineup and produced well for a team that was a Final Four qualifier a year ago. He’s a steady ball handler with a good feel for the game along with good shooting range from 3-point territory.
Will Geary (Valley Park): A 6’2″ standout who has been putting up some impressive numbers for the Eagles last season. Last week, he had a staggering 43-point, 18-rebound performance in a victory over Hancock. It was his second 40-point outing of the season. For the season, he is averaging 21.9 points and 8.4 rebounds a game.
