Westover HS Senior Wing Mikey Campbell Mikey Campbell 6'5" | SF Westover | 2022 State NC : The 6’4 high flying prospect has been big time for the Wolverines this year, averaging over fourteen points and two steals per contest. His activity on the defensive side of the floor allows him to force turnovers and get out into transition where he’s able to really show his athletic ability.
Westover HS Sophomore Guard Almare Josey: This is his first season seeing varsity minutes and the transition has seemed to be going along very smoothly. He is already in the mix as one of the better three-point shooter in the county and has embraced playing within the flow of the team offense.
Fayetteville Academy Senior Guard Amari Pearson Amari Pearson 6'3" | SF Cape Fear Christian Academy | 2022 State NC : One of the top unsigned seniors in the area, Pearson is averaging close to twenty-four points per game. Not only does he provide a high percentage of the scoring for his team, but he plays the game with a high level of intensity and seems to take every matchup personally.
Fayetteville Academy Sophomore Guard Tyler Henderson: The three-point specialist has put together some impressive shooting performances this year and his team will need a good shooting day from him in this matchup. Westover has consistently been one of the better defensive teams in the area and if FA hopes to pull off the win, perimeter shooting will be key.
Pine Forest vs Freedom Christian
Senior Guard Tristin Harkins Tristin Harkins 6'2" | PG Pine Forest | 2022 State NC : His perimeter shooting, and leadership are two attributes that helps his team on a nightly basis. He has college level three-point shooting range on his shot and doesn’t hesitate about letting it fly. His leadership is key for this group due to the fact that there are several key contributors on the squad who are underclassman that are still learning but he’s doing a nice job of leading while being productive.
Sophomore Guard Darris Simmons Darris Simmons 5'10" | SG Pine Forest | 2024 NC : He hit the ground running this season and hasn’t looked back since, averaging over twelve points per contest. The confidence and competitiveness that he plays with is something that you love to see from such a young player.
Freedom Christian Senior Wing Jacob Dor: The 6’6 prospect has shown some flashes of how good he can be this year with multiple games of thirty points or more. He has the tools to be just as good on defense and rebounding the ball when he’s locked in which is why we feel college coaches should be intrigued.
