Trey Knight 6’0 2022 PG of Moreau Catholic
Knight was the leading scorer on his team with 17pt,including 12 in the 1st qtr. He’s capable of running the point. Being one of the more experienced players on the court Knight does a good of setting his teammates up for scoring opportunities, while continuing to be a threat himself. He passes up in transition, and finds cutters to the basket. He has the ability to score from different areas including 3’s.
LeBrie Goudy-Lee LeBrie Goudy-Lee 6'3" | SF Moreau Catholic | 2023 State CA-N 6’4 2023 G/F of Moreau Catholic made his presence felt in this game with his overall play. He had 9pts, made a 3ptr early in the game, and did a good job of converting his opportunities into points. He’s a thick body with good strength and decent foot speed to defend different players. He can mix it up inside and help defend, and get rebounds.
Grant Lyon 6’2 2022 PG of University.
He showed his experience at the point guard with a little craftiness to create shots for himself when he got into the paint, while having the handles and passing skills to find teammates for open 3’s in this game. He generated a couple of steals with his help defense, and he’s a threat to knock down 3’s if he’s in rhythm.
Tyler Bergren 5’6 2024 PG of Campolindo
Bergren is becoming a consistent and reliable player off the bench for the #1 team in NorCal. He understands his role and is contributing good minutes off the bench. In his teams offense he has just enough space, with his handles and speed he gets to the basket for layups. He’ll pass, screen and put a body on somebody.
John Flannigan 6’8 2022 PF of De La Salle
Flannigan put in an eye opening performance in the second half of the contest. Having a size advantage not only in getting rebounds and put backs, but his foot work around the basket included a jump hook, a drop step and a few tip ins, before he stepped out and nailed a 3 on the wing. He had 11pts in the 3rd qtr to finish with 16pts.
Jamari Phillips Jamari Phillips 6'3" | SG Dream City Christian | 2024 State #20 Nation AZ 6’3 2024 Guard of Modesto Christian
Phillips is showing the kind of consistency you’d want to see in a player who is nationally known and the #1 player in the 2024 NorCal class. He’s starting to bring that balance you look for in top prospects. Being a 3 level scorer. He had 12pts at the half, but finished with 27pts, 8-11 at the free throw line, 7 rebounds.
