Filip is one of the top scorers In Maine averaging over 22 points per game. In a game last week against Mount Desert Filip just took over. He had 36 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists. Filip has adjusted to well to moving to the states from Croatia. He is a playmaker who has the game to play at the next level, and should continue to put up huge numbers this season.
Gabe Aucoin, Morse, Class 2022, Position G/F HT 6’3
Gabe is a high level player, who can impact the game in many ways. Gabe is a double threat every game, and had a game this year with 30 points and 13 rebounds against free port. Gabe is a stat machine, and a player you should see play.
Eliot Bouchard, Bonny Eagle, Class 2023, Position C, Class 2023, HT 6’8
Eliot is a big and strong punishing presence. Eliot is a paint protector and averaging a double double this season. At 6’8 Eliot can also stretch the floor, and shoot. Eliot has had stat lines this season of 21 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 assists against Noble, and 19 points, 16 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block. Eliot has the ability to muscle players in the paint.
Colby Smith, Brewer, Position PG, Class 2022
Brewer is off to a 7-0 start, and Colby is a big part of the teams early success. Colby is a true point guard, who is pass first, and gets a lot of assists. Colby is a high energy player, who is a leader. Colby has a high basketball IQ, and someone who you can trust to make the right reads, and doesn’t turn the ball over a lot.
Joseph Estrella, South Portland, Position PF, HT 6-10, class 2023
Joseph is one of the top players in Maine, and a must see talent. Joseph has the game to play at the division 1 level, possibly high division 1, and is getting the attention of division 1 coaches. Joseph is 6’10 and can do a lot of things players his size can’t. It’s not often you get a 6-10 player with guard skills, who can stretch the floor with his three point shooting, and can be a slasher on the wing. He can also play above the rim, and has great finishing skills, and can punish you in the paint. Joseph is a playmaker, and is very aggressive. Joseph has a ton of upside to his game, and should continue to have another very strong season.
