The 4 game guarantee event, provided me with an opportunity to take a lengthy look at several prospects. In this article, we take a look at some of the top wing players from the event.
Sylis Gray Sylis Gray 6'3" | SG Bonanza | 2022 State NV 6’3 SG Bonanza 2022 (#20PHN 2022) – Gray made his case for one of the top wings in 4A. The 6’3 slasher was able to get to the rim, using both his strong and off hand to finish drives. He showed off not just his shooting ability but his ability to shoot it accurately off the move. Gray took advantage of some nice elevator screens, freeing himself from defenders before knocking down shots.
Dre Roman 6’2 SG St Joseph 2022 – Roman was a monster. He attacked downhill and showed off explosive R&J ability when finishing above the rim. He was unstoppable in transition, but it was his ability to set his feet and knock down 3’s that made him dangerous. Roman is a high-value prospect with offers from Fresno Pacific, Whitman, and College of the Redlands.
Dominic Williams Dominic Williams 6'5" | SF Reed | 2024 State NV 6’4 SF Reed 2024 (featured image) – It was a stock rising kind of week for Williams who was tremendous. He has good size, length, and agility. The 6’4 wing showed off his offensive versatility scoring from a variety of levels. Williams was dominant with his back to the basket and did damage when attacking the rim.
Andrew Miller Andrew Miller 6'3" | SG Palo Verde | 2025 UT 6’3 SG Palo Verde 2025 – The freshman established himself as one of the top wings in the city this weekend. Big time R&J guy, with the ability to knock down the 3. Miller was must-see basketball, with his scoring ability and highlight finishes.
Benson Leavitt Benson Leavitt 6'2" | SF Virgin Valley | 2022 State NV 6’3 SF Virgin Valley 2022 (#86PHN 2022) – Easy to tell that Leavitt also plays football. The two sports star was terrific this weekend, using that frame to get to into the lane. Leavitt used his powerful frame to finish through contact and carve out space for rebounds which he finished around the rim.
Frank Evans Frank Evans 6'1" | SG Eldorado | 2022 State NV 6’2 SG Eldorado 2022 (#27PHN 2022) – Evans was a scoring machine this weekend. He finished in transition, got buckets in 1 v 1 situation, and knocked down open threes.
Luis Marin 6’5 SF St Joseph 2022 – Marin played with terrific pace all tournament. He was able to finish around the rim and shot the three-ball at a high rate. On a deep and talented team, he played his role perfectly, helping the Knights to the title. Marin was named to the all-tournament team for his efforts.
