Currently, Greenbrier leads the D9 division. Here is the most up to date standings.

#4 Grainger

#5 Scott
The Highlanders of Scott collected a really nice, valuable win Friday night, in their defeat of hosts Anderson County, 77-68. Scott has now won 5 games in a row. They swept Anderson County this season.
The following quotes from Jordan Jeffers, transcribed during his postgame interview with the radio feed.
“I hated the way that is started,” said Coach Jeffers. “I hate that now they might think we can just flip it on and flip it off. At the same time Anderson County is a good team. They have a Division II player ( Connor Martin Connor Martin 6'5" | SF Anderson County | 2022 State TN ) and they are coached really well.”
Connor Martin Connor Martin 6'5" | SF Anderson County | 2022 State TN scored Anderson County’s first five points. The lefty will attend Trevecca Nazarene next fall.
Anderson County is coached by Derek Wallace.
“For us to come back and win and win decisively down the stretch, I am really proud of our guys,” said Coach Jeffers. It says a lot about our maturity. I was upset with Prewitt. I didn’t like the way he approached the start of the game and I sat him. Got on him pretty hard. From that point on he was in the timeouts saying, ‘Yes, sir.’ So, credit these guys and instead of sulking they responded.”
Coach Jeffers sounded both proud and mildly relieved after the war was won.
“One thing, they allow us to coach ’em,” said Coach Jeffers. “And they have great parents that allow us to coach ’em. That is special because it is not always like that. Their ability tonight, to not go into the shell, but to respond and fight…”

#15 Sullivan East
Tough night for the Patriots. They dropped their second game in their last three, this time to Unicoi County, who simply is not that good this season. Sullivan East also falls to 1-3 in the district. They have n chance of catching Volunteer High (4-0) now.
