Turrell Cleaves Turrell Cleaves 6'4" | SG Jeffersontown | 2022 State KY , Jeffersontown – I’ve been a fan of Cleaves for several years and he is the type of player who could thrive at the right junior college. He could be a Jay Scrubb type of impact player if he gets the motor running nonstop. Physically, Turrell has the potential to be a switchable 2 way wing.
Kanye Henderson Kanye Henderson 6'3" | SG Henry Clay | 2022 State KY , Henry Clay – Henderson has had a long and solid career for Henry Clay but his game has taken a leap in the last year or so. He’s playing above the rim more and looks more comfortable playing with the ball in his hands at the PG spot than he has in the past. With his skills and physical gifts, Kanye has a ton of potential as a scoring combo guard.
Jaiden Lawrence Jaiden Lawrence 6'4" | SG Warren Central | 2022 State KY , Warren Central – Lawrence waited his turn for the Dragons and has had a great Junior and Senior season. He’s also benefit from a growth spurt to allow him to be a bigger and longer wing prospect that reminds me of former Warren Central star Jared Savage.
Gavin Allen Gavin Allen 6'10" | C Lynn Camp | 2022 State KY , Lynn Camp – The oldest saying in scouting is that you can’t teach size and Allen has potential for immediate impact thanks to his 6’10 frame and solid mobility. Gavin is a big time sleeper that could thrive in the right college system. If he were to go the juco route, he could be a D1 guy down the line.
Tyler Buckhanon Tyler Buckhanon 6'8" | PF Bath County | 2022 State KY , Bath County – Tyler has only been in Kentucky for 2 seasons but he has the type of length and athleticism we don’t see much around here. At 6’8, Buckhanon plays way above the rim and is developing his skill level to the point that he could be an impact player for a D1 school after a 2 year stint at junior college.
