Here is the first installment of “Top Glue Guys.”
EJ Williams EJ Williams 6'0" | CG Westminster | 2022 State MO (Westminster): The 6’1″ 2022 guard is a tremendous multi-tasker on the Wildcats team that is one of the best in the state in Class 5. He facilitates offense as a point guard, which enables fellow talented guards Casen Lawrence Casen Lawrence 5'10" | PG Westminster | 2022 State MO and Kobi Williams Kobi Williams 6'4" | SG Westminster | 2023 State MO to go and get buckets. He also plays very stout defense from end to end. He is also an excellent rebounder from his guard position. His motor never seems to stop and he keeps everything flowing. If Draymond Green was a 6’1″ guard, he would be EJ Williams EJ Williams 6'0" | CG Westminster | 2022 State MO .
Brysan Jeffries (Blair Oaks): The 6’0″ 2022 forward is an unsung player for the Falcons’ second-ranked team in Class 4. He’s built like the standout lineman on the football field that he is, but he’s thinks the game like a point guard. He’s an excellent passer who rebounds, plays tough defense and makes a ton of hustle plays. He’s always in the right position at the right time.
Jimmy Lansing (Chaminade): The 6’7″ 2022 forward has one skill that sets him apart from everyone else. He is the best I’ve seen at setting on-ball screens. The 300-pound Illinois State football recruit makes life easier for his guards with his ability to set bone-jarring picks. Any guard from the opposing team that ventures into his area had better keep his head on a swivel.
Tyler Moore (Troy): A 6’2″ 2022 wing who has done whatever tasked is needed to help the Trojans to its current11-3 record. He averages eight points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals a game. He will also guard the opposing team’s top scorer while also crashing the offensive boards and hustling for loose balls.
Asa Bridges (Staley): On a team full of talented players and college prospects, this 5’10″ 2022 guard is a vital piece for the Falcons, who are one of the best teams in Class 6. He is a solid ball-handler who plays mistake free basketball. He keeps the ball moving and offensive flowing. He also spaces the court well with his 3-point shooting ability.
