Isaiah Collier Isaiah Collier 6'4" | PG Wheeler | 2023 State #8 Nation GA , 6’2 PG Wheeler (GA) 2023: Collier was my favorite out of state player to watch as he had a great outing by displaying not only his athleticism and shot-making ability, but also his distributing skills. With his scoring talent, Collier has a lot of gravity against opposing defenses and he used this to his advantage by putting his teammates in positions where they could easily score the basketball. Collier is a nationally ranked top 25 prospect who is heavily coveted by Cincinnati. We’ll see if the Bearcats can convince him to play many more games in the Buckeye state in the future.
Jaxon Kohler Jaxon Kohler 6'9" | PF Southern California Academy | 2022 #49 Nation CA-S , 6’8 C So Cal Academy (CA) 2022: Kohler is a very skilled big man who shoots an easy ball and provides needed floor spacing for Southern California Academy. A Michigan State commit, I could see Kohler making an impact with his ability to fit within an offense and not need the ball for extended periods of time to make an impact. Kohler had 13 points on nine shots against Centerville and 20 points on 16 shots Vs Massillon Jackson.
Vincent Iwuchukwu Vincent Iwuchukwu 7'0" | C Southern California Academy | 2022 #22 Nation CA-S , 7’0 C So Cal Academy (CA) 2022: Iwuchukwu was a force on the inside by displaying his phenomenal athleticism for dunks in transition and blocks around the paint. Still figuring out some aspects of the game like shooting and positional defense, but the upside for Iwuchukwu is through the roof and that was clear this weekend. He might not make an immediate impact at the next level, but some development in the weight room and shooting could make him one of the best bigs in the nation as an upperclassman.
Josh Reed Josh Reed 6'6" | SF Pace Academy | 2022 State #200 Nation GA , 6’6 PF Pace Academy (GA) 2022: Reed is a UC Bearcat commit so he’ll be calling Ohio home for good beginning this summer. Reed was able to show off his versatility with his ball-handling and ability to finish around the basket. The lefty struggled a bit going right, but made one impressive take and finish with his off hand. It’ll be interesting to see whether he’s used as more of a wing or a forward at the next level in Wes Miller’s system.
Bryson Tiller, 6’8 PF Pace Academy (GA) 2025: Tiller wins the award for most long-term upside from the entire weekend as he is going to be a special prospect. At 6’7, 6’8, Tiller is able to move around the court easily and has a frame that’s mature well beyond his age. Tiller was efficient with his looks around the basket, going 5/7 from 2-point range in the contest. It’s a long way to go, but Tiller has all the makings of a potential five-star recruit if he continues to develop his game.
