Check out some of the player evals from this week.
Player Evaluations
Aaron Humphrey Aaron Humphrey 6'6" | PF Indianapolis Tindley | 2022 State IN (Indianapolis Tindley) – 2022 6’6” C
Humphrey is a huge post player inside who dominated the paint on the offensive end of the floor. He finished with touch inside and seemed to always be in good position on the glass. He did struggle mightily from the outside, going 0-5 from three. Humphrey ended with a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds in the loss. He currently holds a couple of offers from Defiance and Trinity Christian.
Antonio Lisenbee Jr. (Indianapolis Tech) – 2022 6’6” PF
Lisenbee is a giant body in the paint who tries to dunk absolutely everything when he gets the ball in his hands. He was on the back end of several lob passes on the fastbreak, and he dominated the defensive end of the floor with four blocks. Lisenbee ended with 9 points and 5 boards along with these blocks, and although he does not have any offers at this point, he has the talent.
Ian Raasch (NorthWood) – 2023 6’6” PF
Raasch is a big forward inside who is incredibly patient with the ball, and he knows exactly what to do with it. He goes strong to the hole, and he slashes or cuts to the rim to get lay-ups with the best of them. He also attacks the glass, and never shies away from contact on the inside which led to 9 free throw attempts. This was a very impressive performance from Raasch as he ended with 18 points and 7 boards in the win.
Matt Spears Matt Spears 6'7" | PF Arsenal Tech | 2022 State IN (Indianapolis Tech) – 2022 6’7” PF
Spears has a ton of length, and he was able to score the ball incredibly well in their win. Spears ended with 17 points on 6-7 shooting, and he was knocking down shots from all over. Spears was 2-3 from three and finished well around the rim. Matthew just picked up an offer from IU-South Bend, and with his size and length, I would expect him to see more offers coming soon.
Shon Tupuola Shon Tupuola 6'8" | C Brownsburg | 2022 State IN (Brownsburg) – 2022 6’6” PF
Tupuola is a giant force inside, and he uses his length and strength to be a menace on the boards. He grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds in the win on Friday. Tupuola also dominates the paint on the defensive end with his shot-blocking ability. He uses his length to disrupt shots, and although he mistimed his jumps at times, he has a bunch of raw potential in his game. He should be fully developed at UIndy in the years to come.
