Jesse Burris Jesse Burris 6'4" | SF Delaware Hayes | 2024 State #297 Nation OH (2024). G/W 6’4. Delaware Hayes
Jesse is a very nice long and athletic sophomore for the Pacers. He finished the game with 21 points, the majority of those points came in the fourth and he lead his team to a much-needed win. He started hitting some very difficult shots from inside and out, including a fadeaway in the post with a hand right in his face. I loved his back-to-the-basket game and his willingness to use it. He is someone that will develop into a big-time player that will be much talked about. I would love to see him getting more comfortable using his left and adding some weight but I believe the young and very talented kid will do it.
Steele Meister Steele Meister 6'4" | PF Newark | 2024 State OH (2024). G/W 6’2. Newark
Meister impressed me with his ability to step up in the big moments and not backing down from anyone. He was guarded by the five-star and future Ohio State football player Alex “Sonny” Styles and gave him all he could handle. He is a shorter and stocker wing that can play inside and out. He is highly skilled and understands angles very impressively and it shows with his ability to get to the rim. He had multiple difficult finishes on bigger defenders. He also has a pretty stroke. He came up big for the Wildcats and hit very timely shots all game long.
Micah Young (2025). G 6’1. Westerville North
Young is a freshman and a first-year varsity starter for the Warriors but plays as if he has been there before. He has great calmness and maturity in his game. He has a very nice wingspan for his height with some good athleticism I would like to see him develop more along with his strength. The young freshman came up big late for the warriors as he had a big-time and-1 and three to bring the Warriors within striking distance. He has some very nice finishing ability and has a nice-looking shot that will get more consistent over the next four years. I believe Young can develop into a very nice player that college coaches should keep an eye on.
Juwan Turner Juwan Turner 5'10" | PG Pickerington Central | 2024 State OH (2024). PG/G 5’10. Pickerington Central
I love Turner’s game. He is a smooth operator. Newark ran zone most of the game and Turner played a big part in the win for the Tigers as he dissected the zone with his passing and shooting. He has great vision and passing, he also did a great job of manipulating the zone with his eyes and ball fakes. He also took the shots when the opportunities presented themselves and knocked down most of them.
