Isaac Dobie Isaac Dobie 6'3" | SG First Flight | 2023 State NC (6’3″ Shooting Guard) First Flight (2023)
Dobie is a durable guard with good size, soft touch, and very impressive off-ball skills. He is one of the most impressive in-game shooters I have seen in his class within the state. Impressive body control and he is an underrated finisher at the rim as well. He has a good defensive knack as far as positioning and draws a lot of charges. Keep an eye out for Dobie this summer as he will continue to get better and look to propel himself into his senior year, behind his impressive play.
Avion Pinner Avion Pinner 6'9" | PF Concord Academy | 2023 State NC (6’8 Small Forward) The Burlington School (2023)
Pinner is an explosive forward that has the potential to become an impressive two-way player at the next level. He has an elusive way of making his way to the rim through traffic as well. His size and passion have The Burlington School rolling into 2022, with seven straight wins at 20-3 on the season. Pinner is an energizer bunny, that can swing the moment with his athleticism. His next step is becoming a lockdown defender and creating offense for his teammates. As he continues to become a better playmaker and defender, he may become one of the best players in his class in the State.
Hampton Evans Hampton Evans 6'5" | PF Farmville Central | 2024 State NC (6’5 Small Forward) Greenfield High (2023)
Evans is an active forward with an impressive shooting stroke for the Knights. Evans had a huge double-double with 15 points and 15 rebounds, leading his team to a victory over Wilson Prep. Evans has good size and a knack for rebounds, especially on the offensive glass. He creates a lot of second-chance opportunities for his team. He is a knockdown shooter when his feet are set, not streaky at all with good mechanics. Excited to see the progressive jump he makes this summer.
Justin Banks (6’8 Power Forward) Moravian Prep (2022)
Banks is a player that has gone under the radar, because of the perimeter-oriented team. Banks is a constant lob and put-back threat. Banks has kept this team afloat with his activity on the glass and his defense against some of the best big men in the Southeast. Banks had 14 points, 8 rebounds, and two blocks against Trinity Academy. Banks is easily adaptable and I would not be surprised if a kid like him in three years is at a really good university playing important minutes for a conference contender.
Jordan Vick Jordan Vick 5'11" | PG Word of God | 2025 State NC (5’10″ Point Guard) Souther Nash (2024)
Jordan Vick Jordan Vick 5'11" | PG Word of God | 2025 State NC is a player that we will write about a lot over the next three years. He has a knack for scoring and is a pesky defender. Vick has a good feel for the game and gets to his spot at an exceptional rate. He has a really good pace and when Vick’s playmaking catches up with his scoring I think he is going to be one of the better guards in the state. Despite being undersized he plays the game like he’s over 6 foot and that’s why he can progressively become an even better basketball player. He’s an impressive slasher at his size and has the potential to become a lockdown defender, averaging four steals a game.
