Jackson Fields Jackson Fields 6'7" | SF Elkins | 2022 State LA 2022 Fort Bend Elkins
Jackson is a nimble big man who can punish you in a variety of ways. I was blown away by his agility and ability to step around defenders, finish softly at the rim, and stretch the floor. He is a smart screener who knows when to roll versus popping out for an open midrange look. He is great at playing off of his lead guard, and thrives at being in the right spot at the right time. He is a fearless defender of the rim and truly believes every shot that goes up is his to take off the glass. He truly has an Anthony Davis type game to him, with an ability to punish a smaller defender on the block or take a bigger forward off the dribble. He has great touch on his shot, paired with a high release point makes it a difficult weapon to stop.
Jayson Caldwell – McGaskey 6’5 2022 Dickinson High School
Jayson is an athletic forward who thrives at shutting down the paint on the defensive end. He is fantastic at timing his leaps to contest shots at the rim, and makes his opponents think twice about attacking the basket. He came up with multiple big time blocks to seal the victory in the recent Conroe Christmas Classic. On the offensive end, he is patient and capable of playing alongside another ferocious forward. The other big ( Zyon Little Zyon Little 6'6" | SF Dickinson | 2023 State TX 2023) loves attacking with his back to the basket, and McGaskey is great at reading the situation and flashing to the high post or sneaking around his defender for an open look at the rim or sealing him off for a rebounding opportunity. I would like to see him work on putting the ball on the floor and attacking more in the open court.
Seth Jones Seth Jones 6'2" | PG Dickinson | 2022 State TX 2022 Dickinson High School
Seth is a freak athlete for the point guard position. He is great at using his quickness to get by defenders in the open court, and has a great handle to blow by defenders in the half court. He is a very patient player who is willing to play through his elite big men. I loved watching him dominate in the midrange, he was confident and wiling to take the shot after quickly turning the corner. It was fun watching his athleticism in warmups, you can tell he has springs attached to his feet. During the game he used it to sky for some athletic layups when he got downhill to attack the basket.
Luke Hatcher Luke Hatcher 6'5" | SF Stratford | 2022 State TX 2022 6’5 Stratford High School
Luke is an athletic wing who thrives at scoring the ball from all three levels. His ability to turn the corner and attack the bucket was very impressive. He thrives at turning steals into instant offense by efficiently finishing on the break and at the rim. It was fun watching him take on high level defenders and poke the ball from them. His ability to cause turnovers jumpstarted his team on the offensive end of the floor.
