Jacob Pleiman Jacob Pleiman 6'6" | PF Botkins | 2022 State OH (2022). W/F 6’6. Botkins
Jacob Pleiman Jacob Pleiman 6'6" | PF Botkins | 2022 State OH is a very big and strong kid. He has a wide frame and good athleticism. He is the leader for Botkins and is very tough to stop with his size alone. He plays inside and out for Botkins and brought the ball up a lot. He made good plays with the ball and always hit the open man. He got some strong boards and finishes. I believe he is more of an inside player at the next level but he showed the ability to do both.
Owen Woolbert Owen Woolbert 6'7" | C Massillon Jackson | 2023 State OH (2023). F 6’7. Massillon Jackson
I found myself really liking Woolbert’s game. He is listed at 6’7 and has a wide frame with pretty good athleticism. He had a good-looking jumper and with that combo, I think he could be a very nice stretch four at the next level. He needs to grow into his body a little more and get strong but his athleticism will get be better than most others.
Tyler Williams Tyler Williams 6'8" | C Brush | 2023 State OH (2023). F 6’8. Brush
Tyler Williams Tyler Williams 6'8" | C Brush | 2023 State OH is a big and strong forward for Brush that has some great athleticism. He is a modern-day four in my eyes because of his great athleticism. He can switch and guard almost every position on the floor if need be. He did foul out with only eight points but he showed that the junior is going to be a player and has the ability to be a highly recruited player.
Eian Elmer Eian Elmer 6'6" | SF Taft | 2023 State OH (2023). F 6’7. Cincinnati Taft
Eian Elmer Eian Elmer 6'6" | SF Taft | 2023 State OH is a nice athlete for Taft who has a good skill set to complement it. Elmer is long, has great speed, and has some major bounce. He jumped over a player for Flyght Prep on a fast break block. This was the most impressive of the multiple blocks he had. This is a testament to how hard he plays. He gives tons of effort and never gives up on the play because he trusts his athleticism enough to go and make plays many others can’t. He has a very nice jumper and pull-up game that he loves. His size and bounce gives him a good ability to finishes at the rim.
Gavin Headings Gavin Headings 6'8" | PF Pickerington Central | 2023 State OH (2023). F 6’7. Pickerington Central
Headings is a 6’7 forward that can shoot it. His height allows him to shoot over most defenders. He is a long and nice athlete. He also showed some sneaky nice handles and moves. In the Tigers’ big game against Newark, I loved headings energy and aggressiveness early. Got himself in a rhythm early and hit many shots. He also played a huge factor on the boards, on both ends. Showing he can be a very nice stretch forward at the next level.
