Jared Frey Jared Frey 6'5" | SG ISA | 2022 State OH (2022). G 6’4. ISA Academy
You have to step up and guard Frey as soon as he crosses half-court. He has unlimited range. He is a high-volume shooter that kills anybody with their hands down. you can feel his confidence when he is on the court. He has next-level footwork when he gets into the lane as well, with nice athleticism to complete his game.
Jonas Burge (2022). G 6’3. Shaker Heights
For the first three-quarters of the game on at Flyin’ to the Hoop against ISA I really liked Burge’s raw athleticism and length. He has very nice bounce and quickness. Then he got HOT in the fourth. He scored 14 points in the fourth quarter alone. His team needed his scoring boost. He started to hit a couple of threes, including a big three to start the fourth and got some good buckets at the rim. He showed once he finds his rhythm and gets aggressive he is a hard player to stop.
Kevin James Kevin James 6'4" | SG Massillon Jackson | 2022 State OH (2022). G 6’4. Massillon Jackson
Kevin James Kevin James 6'4" | SG Massillon Jackson | 2022 State OH is a 6’4 guard for Massillon Jackson and has serious bounce and athleticism. He has great speed and quickness. He has a very nice handle on the ball as he handles some next-level pressure against Socal Academy quite well. He did not score that much during this game but his shot looked good and he played hard the entire game even when the game was well out of reach. I was hoping to see more but I could tell this kid has some great potential from his athleticism alone.
Brendan McRoy (2022). G 6’1. ISA Academy
Brendan McRoy is a very tough and scrappy kid. I love his game because of that along with his skill set. He has a great stroke and range. He is a high IQ player that plays more of two guard role for ISA but showed the ability to play point guard with his nice handle and moves. He hit a couple of nice pull-ups showing he can score at more than one level. McRoy is also sneaky athletic.
Jalen Brown (2022). G 5’11. Shaker Heights.
Jalen Brown is a tough kid. That’s what I liked about his game the most, he showed tons of toughness. He is a 5’11 guard who is not afraid of anyone. He is very quick so he can get to the lane very effectively. He has a very nice ability to find a driving lane and he attacks it hard. He has a nice bounce and that helps him with finishing over bigger players. He hit a very nice-looking pull-up as well showing that he could get buckets that way too.
