The games were played at 4 different schools, (Albuquerque high, Atrisco Heritage, Cibola, and Sanida High) with the Semifinals and Championship game held at West Mesa High School. Several under-the-radar players used the event as an opportunity to put their names on the map. We present our top 10 Sleepers from the event.
- Daniel Jacobsen Daniel Jacobsen 7'2" | C Brewster Academy | 2024 State NLG 6’11 C La Cueva 2024 (#3PHNM 2024) – 7-foot sophomore, has a ton of upside and provides instant rim protection.
- Chris Parra Jr. 6’0 PG Atrisco Heritage 2023 – Tough high IQ, gamer, with off the bounce shooting ability.
- Ely Lovato Ely Lovato 6'2" | CG Sandia | 2023 State NM 6’1 CG Sandia 2023 (#5PHNM 2023) (featured image) – Unconventional game, with the skill of a natural scorer.
- Sean Thompson Sean Thompson 6'5" | PF Eldorado | 2022 NM 6’5 PF Eldorado 2022 – Active big with a nice mid-range shooting touch.
- Keagan Caton Keagan Caton 6'5" | SF Rio Rancho | 2022 State NM 6’5 SF Rio Rancho 2022 (#19PHNM 2022) – Versatile scoring wing, with the size and skill to play multiple positions.
- Cole Savage Cole Savage 6'4" | PF Cleveland | 2022 State NM 6’5 SF Cleveland 2022 (#71PHNM 2022) – Long slasher, with the ability to create for himself off the bounce.
- Javier Mendoza Javier Mendoza 5'11" | SG Atrisco Heritage | 2022 State NM 5’11 SG Atrisco Heritage (#17PHNM 2022) – Multi-level scorer, with 3 point shooting ability.,
- Andrew Hill Andrew Hill 6'2" | CG Sandia | 2023 State NM 6’1 CG Sandia 2023 – Lefty has a nice 1 v 1 game, with some wiggle and the ability to make pull-up jumpers.
- Elijah Brody Elijah Brody 6'2" | SF West Mesa | 2024 State NM 6’2 SF Cleveland 2024 (#7PHNM 2024) – Lefty with good frame and length.
- Gabe Trujillo 6’4 SF La Cueva 2022 – Good length, with ball skills to get to the basket and finish.
