There were eight McDonald’s All Americans, 40+ Division 1 commits, and several prospects ranked in the top 5 of their class. With all the talent on the floor, some guys are bound to be missed. In this article, we talk about 5 prospects who are going under the radar and how their recruiting is shaking up so far.</p> <p><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/chaunte-marrero/"><strong>Chaunte Marrero</strong></a> is one of the most explosive guards in Kentucky. The 5’9 180 guard brings a dense football frame to the court. When he’s not averaging over 20 yards a catch, he’s using his speed and frame to get to the rim. He finishes well against size and absorbs contact with his body. SEMO currently wants him as a preferred walk-on, while D2 schools Charleston and Fairfield have offered him scholarships. He has an interest in playing both sports at the next level.</p> <p><strong><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/graham-worland/">Graham Worland</a></strong> from Greensboro Day school stands 6’6. The wing operates out of the midrange where his ability to attack angles out of the triple threat opens up space for his jumpshot. He scores on all levels and is drawing attention from college coaches. The City Of Palms marked the second in two weeks East Carolina has come to watch him play. He currently has an offer from Army but his head coach says they’re fielding other calls for him recently. He’ll be another 2023 to monitor this summer as he plays with Team Charlotte and continues to work on his defensive principles.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1055794" first="Jordan" last="Tillery"] is the youngest player in the top 20 team’s starting lineup. The 6’4 wing is a tough physical defender that has no problem playing out of position. His length and top shelf athleticism fuels his rebounding and defensive tools. He’s shooting 41% from three after being a shooting below 30% as a freshman. There’s constant improvement around the young man and that’s why he’s drawing interest from high major coaches. They came in to look at the senior, but couldn’t help but see the future of Dr. Phillips’s team. He currently has an offer from Coastal Carolina and others are expected to come in as he grows over the summer.</p> <p>North Little Rock’s <a href="https://mobile.twitter.com/charlesmaris5"><strong>Charles Maris</strong></a> recruiting has been cold. For a guy that kept his team in games during one of the premier tournaments in the country, it feels ridiculous. Maris shot a blazing 51% from three on a shade under 5 attempts a game during four games. The guard comes in at 5’9 but don’t let the height fool you. He can finish against size. He’s a quick guard that plays strong on ball defense. The senior can make plays out of the pick and roll and punish those who go under the screen.</p> <p><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/canin-jefferson/"><strong>Canin Jefferson</strong></a> is going under the radar outside of his state. Our Louisiana site has him ranked as the 7th best player in their 2023 class. Eastern Washington and Xavier University of Louisiana have noticed his talents offering him in 2021. He has the potential to break out during this summer with his scoring and playmaking. Jefferson lead his team in scoring while shooting 44% from three during City Of Palms.</p>
