That means we’ve been pulling together a bunch of new names from around the state and there are several that are really standing out this season. Let’s take a look at five seniors in the state of Indiana that college coaches need to make sure they know about.
Macoyion Brown (Lawrence North H.S. 2022): Dynamic 6’0″ guard that has made a big impact in the Wildcats backcourt as a senior. He is coming off a 23-point performance in a win over North Central. Brown is excellent off the dribble, can create his own shot with ease, and has some explosiveness on his way to the rim. One of the best small college backcourt prospects to burst onto the scene this season.
Blake Fleming (North Central H.S. 2022): Smooth shooting left-handed guard that has had a very good senior season for North Central. Fleming is one of the better shooters in the Indianapolis area and deserves more attention for his role in leading the Panthers to an 11-4 record. Will be a nice addition to someone’s college program.
Mark Hankins (Terre Haute North H.S. 2022): Hankins has led the way for 16-1 Terre Haute North this season. The 6’5″ forward averages a team-leading 12.5 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. He can stretch the floor out to the three-point line and has shown the ability to attack closeouts as well. Very high IQ player that contributes to winning in a variety of ways for the Patriots. Nice small college prospect for programs to keep an eye on.
Eric Martin (Calumet H.S. 2022): Martin has put up massive numbers this season and is starting to turn some heads. The 6’6″ forward is averaging 17.5 points and 13.7 rebounds at Calumet on impressive 60% shooting from the field. He has the strength to finish through contact inside and is really hard to stop around the basket. Excellent rebounder on both ends of the floor. Plays with a high motor.
Latrell Williams (Crispus Attucks H.S. 2022): Lightening quick 6’2″ guard with nice length in the backcourt. Williams has been excellent in the backcourt for Crispus Attucks while stepping into a larger role throughout the season. Now averaging 10.9 points per game. Explosive left-handed driver with a smooth jump shot as well. Nice two-way prospect for coaches to take a look at.
