Nick Seeloch Nick Seeloch 5'10" | PG Holmdel | 2024 State NJ , 5’10 PG Holmdel
Seeloch has gotten off to a hot start this season and should continue to play well as 2022 rolls on. The 5’10 guard has a good shooting stroke and can knock down triples in bunches. Seeloch is more than just a shooter as he also has a nice handle and can make plays in the lane. He moves well off the ball and is an underrated defender. Seeloch is a lead guard prospect to watch as he gets more comfortable within the flow of the Hornets’ offense.
Merle Hans Merle Hans 5'10" | PG Wildwood | 2024 State NJ , 5’10 PG Wildwood
Hans is shouldering a larger scoring role within the offense, and it will only grow as the year moves forward. The 5’10 guard has a good handle and can finish in a variety of ways around the basket. Hans is capable of scoring in the mid-range and has a nice release on his jumper. He plays with quick hands on the defensive end and knows how to get his teammates involved in the halfcourt. Hans is a quick, point guard prospect who should continue to run the show for Wildwood this season.
Reggie Selden Jr., 6’1 PG Bishop Eustace
Selden Jr. is a talented guard prospect who is a name to watch in South Jersey. The 6’1 guard is at his best attacking the basket as he is a strong finisher and is unafraid of finishing through contact. Selden Jr. plays under composure with the ball in his hands and is not fazed by on-ball pressure. He moves his feet well on the defensive end and can knock down open jumpers from behind the arc. Selden Jr. is a breakout contender to watch as he is set for big games throughout the course of the season for Bishop Eustace.
Owen Griffin Owen Griffin 6'4" | SF St. Joe's Metuchen | 2024 State NJ , 6’4 SF St. Joe’s Metuchen
Griffin is an intriguing prospect to watch as he plays a big role for a talented Falcons team. The 6’4 forward has a strong frame which he uses to finish through contact around the basket. Griffin has an underrated handle and rarely forces shots in the half court. He elevates for rebounds on both ends of the floor and has the potential to defend multiple positions. Griffin is a wing prospect who should get more confidence as he gets more touches in St. Joe’s Metuchen’s offense this season.
Eunique Rink Eunique Rink 6'9" | C College Achieve | 2024 State NJ , 6’8 C Payne Tech
Rink is an under the radar prospect in Essex County that is set to explode onto the scene. The 6’8 post prospect is one of the top shot-blockers in the class as he uses his combination of length, athleticism and timing to swat shots around the basket. Rink has a physical frame which he uses to get position down low and has a nice touch around the basket. He is tough to box out on both ends of the floor and has a nice touch on his free throws. Rink is a tough forward prospect who should only get better as the season moves along for Payne Tech.
