Eli Williams | North Central High School 24’
This kid can go! His offensive skill set is just crazy. Eli can shoot with range, he can shoot off the bounce, he can effectively use a pick and roll, he can score the rock! I said it last year that as a Freshmen Eli would’ve been the best player on North Central’s Varsity team, but he ended up playing JV. Too many people have been sleeping on this kid and I am fortunately NOT one of them. Eli is a force on offense and if you let him see a couple go in and gain just a little bit of confidence, you might as well just hold on for the ride. Eli is also a very tough defender, as he slides his feet and sticks his chest out and just guards. He does gamble a little bit on steals or blocks, but with maturity and coaching, he can make those mistakes non-existent. Eli has been leading the Wolfpack in scoring all season, and he just keeps getting better.
Jacori Ervin | North Central High School 24″
Jacori is a 6’9 200lbs inside-out player, who is always looking to dunk on you coming off a rebound. Last summer Jacori was probably around 6’6, so he grew about 3 inches. This kid is just figuring out how to use his big frame. He shoots the ball well from 15 feet, but I think he could probably step out and shoot from 18 feet with some practice and consistent shot attempts. He is a very active guy on the boards and is going to give you 100% effort on the floor. The growth he has had physically has been pleasant to see, and his skills are developing very nicely too. This spring/summer should be big for Jacori.
Ryan Lafferty | Mt. Spokane High School 24’
Mt. Spokane is lucky to have such a savvy guard in Ryan Lafferty. This kid’s game is just so smooth. He handles the ball with composure and creates plays for him and his teammates with little to no effort. The game just seems to move in slow motion for him because he is rarely turning over the ball or forcing a shot/pass. Ryan is only a sophomore and he is being asked to carry a good load of the offensive and defensive responsibilities for the Wildcats. When the game gets crazy, this kid seems to be unaffected. Great overall basketball player.
Evan Stinson | Cheney High School 24’
Evan is the other head of the 2 headed monster at Cheney High School. Evan is a 6’5 guard/wing that can do it all. He is so crafty with everything he does. He can shoot over the defense, he uses the pick and roll to get in the lane and score or make a play for a teammate, he can even post up smaller guards/wings. Evan is a very active basketball player and just flies around the court. Evan is usually tasked with guarding the best player on the opposing team and guards as good as anyone. Evan is a student of the game and is always in the gym, which is what coaches love! He’s only a sophomore, so expect this kid to improve by leaps and bounds this spring/summer.
Xavier Santana | Clarkston High School 24’
Standing around 5’10 Xavier doesn’t look like anything special, but put the ball in his hands and let him go to work on the basketball court he is fantastic to watch. Xavier knows his way around a basketball court, and when he steps inside those 4 lines, he knows how to score the rock in many different ways. Xavier is a deceptive ball handler using his quick acceleration and deceleration. Xavier will also knock it down from 18+ feet, so you can just play off of him to get a head start on his drive. He’s a problem for any defense.
Kase Wynott Kase Wynott 6'6" | SF Lapwai | 2024 State ID | Lapwai High School ’24
Kase is a 6’5 180lbs scorer. This kid is crafty using pick and rolls whether that is getting to the rim or creating space for a jump shot. The kid can really shoot it too! Doesn’t matter if it’s contested, shooting off the bounce, or shooting a set catch and shoot, he can SHOOT. Takes advantage of his size posting up smaller guards. Kase is also a very active rebounder. He’s only 16 and the sky is the limit for him. Big Spring/summer ahead for this guy!
