Below we are taking a look at names to know on the Treasure Coast in the 2022 class. These players are poised to have a strong finish to their high school career and are ready to play at the next level. Let’s take a deeper dive:
2022 Brandon Williams Brandon Williams 6'0" | SG Dillard | 2022 FL – Treasure Coast High School – The transfer guard from Dillard High School has made an immediate impact on the Treasure Coast leading his team to a current record of 7-3 heading into 2022. This young man plays physical, has a quick first step and gets to the rim with ease. Brandon displays a nice mid range shot and plays tough on the defensive side. I expect a strong second half of the season and expect this team to continue their winning streak. This young man has a ton of upside in his game and has what it takes to play at the next level.
2022 Travis King Travis King 6'2" | CG Trinity Christian | 2022 State FL – Fort Pierce Central High School – Travis is one of the best bigs in the area standing at 6’7 and can get it done in a variety of areas on the court. Travis is a solid player with a strong work ethic. Travis has a college ready frame and can help several schools at the next level. Travis has a consistent mid range shot, solid footwork and uses his large frame well. Travis moves well without the ball and is a rebounding machine. This young man needs to be on the recruiting radar.
2022 Makel Dickerson – Port St Lucie High School – Makel is another tough guard who goes hard on both ends of the court and has a solid work ethic. He is currently averaging 9 points per game to go along with several steals and assists. Makel displays good speed and is a tough defender. This is a young man to keep an eye on as the season continues. I believe he has solid upside and can find success at the next level with the right program.
2022 Sami Rahman – Fort Pierce Central High School – Sami is one of the best guards in the area and has a tireless work ethic and attention to detail about his game. Sami is averaging over 10 points and 5 rebounds a game while shooting 68% from the field. Sami is smart with his shot selection and gets it done on both ends of the court. This is the type of young man you want on your team as he plays with high energy and passion going hard on every possession.
2022 Iziah George- Somerset College Preparatory Academy – Iziah is having his best season yet averaging 18 points per game to go along with 4 rebounds. Iziah is a physical guard who is tough to stop in transition. Iziah moves well without the ball and is a strong finisher at the rim. This guard is one of the best in the area and is a player to have on the radar for sure.
