Prep Hoops Maryland recently updated its class of 2022 prospect rankings, and now it's time to take a closer look. Here is a rundown of the biggest stock risers featured in this recent update.

#28 | [player_tooltip player_id="1049815" first="Travis" last="Roberts"] | Previous Rank: #36

Roberts went off for Bishop Walsh in their signature win this season over Wasatch Academy. The 6-foot-5 swingman is playing some of his best basketball at the moment. Roberts is shooting the ball efficiently and that is translating to wins for his team.

#36 | [player_tooltip player_id="1277437" first="Dorian" last="Jones"] | Previous Rank: 57

Parkville is one of the better public school teams you'll find in Maryland. The presence of [player_tooltip player_id="1277437" first="Dorian" last="Jones"] is a key reason for that. Credit to our guy Colby for identifying him.

#40 | Jacob Aryee | Previous Rank: 50

Millersville is getting a good one in Jacob Aryee. A top-tier athlete who can score at all three levels, he is a show-stopper in transition who can get the crowd rocking with rim-rattling dunks. Aryee has been a steady riser since we became introduced to him during the pandemic.

#48 | [player_tooltip player_id="837955" first="John" last="Thomas"] | Previous Rank: 86

Thomas is averaging just north of 31 points per game for the 3-0 Clippers. Perhaps no one in this area has been more productive during the early part of the season. It would be wise to keep an eye on Thomas and his team moving forward.

#53 | [player_tooltip player_id="1049824" first="Malachi" last="Briscoe"] | Previous Rank: 89

Briscoe is a difference-maker for the Knights. His versatility is a valuable asset. Briscoe can protect the rim with the best of them. Offensively, he can score in a number of ways. It's clear that Briscoe's presence on the floor gives his team a significant boost.

#57 | [player_tooltip player_id="904680" first="TJ" last="Vaughn"] | Previous Rank: 81

Vaughn knows how to contribute to winning teams. We've seen him do so throughout the years. Earlier this season when John Carroll won at Mt. Carmel, he scored 10 points. He is a solid ball-handler who makes shots and defends his position.

#61 | [player_tooltip player_id="904645" first="Chase" last="Williams"] | Previous Rank: 92

When Grace Brethren won on the road at Potomac School to start their season, [player_tooltip player_id="904645" first="Chase" last="Williams"] was the star down the stretch. It was a gritty two-way performance for the skilled guard. Williams played relentless defense and created several shots for his team down the stretch.
