Learic Davis Learic Davis 6'7" | SF Milwaukee Bradley Tech | 2022 State WI (6’7 2022 W, Bradley Tech)- Learic has been putting up some ridiculous all-around numbers this season for Bradley Tech, and on Saturday night he finished with an impressive 21 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals, all while shooting 3-3 from beyond the arc. At 6’7 he just may be the most impressive athlete in the state, and that showed with his quick burst to attack the basket off the dribble, as well as the transition dunk that he had over the top of a defender. Was really impressed with how he uses his long stride to create separation for his jumper, and when his shot is falling like it was on Saturday, he’s so hard to stop. Really good at driving and dumping it off at the last second to his bigs for easy buckets as well. Helped his team pick up a win over Menominee (Michigan).
Josh Krueger (6’2 2022 G, Kenosha Tremper)- Josh continued his breakout season with a 27 point performance against Kingdom Prep Lutheran. The senior guard came out firing from deep, and was hitting at a high percentage on his way to 6 makes from deep. He showed he can knock down shots off the catch, or utilize a shot fake to send a defender flying by and then knock down a one dribble pull-up. Also went coast to coast for a tough left handed finish.
Armani Jones Armani Jones 5'8" | PG Brown Deer | 2022 State WI (5’8 2022 PG, Brown Deer)- Brown Deer ultimately came up short in overtime to a tough team out of Illinois, but it was a strong individual performance from Armani. The undersized guard forced the defense to guard him well beyond the arc after hitting a couple of deep threes early in the game. That opened up some driving lanes to the hoop, and Jones showed he wasn’t afraid to get into the paint and draw contact. He was tenacious following up misses and had a couple of tough finishes inside. Shot the ball really well and wasn’t afraid to take the big shots late in the game.
Nacir Beamon Nacir Beamon 6'2" | SG Nicolet | 2024 State WI (6’2 2024 G, Milwaukee Academy of Science)- Taking on Chicago Perspective School, Nas put up a team high 23 points in a win. One of the things that always sticks out about Beamon’s game is his effort on the glass, as he’s a tenacious rebounder who attacks everything off the rim. He secured 10 rebounds with some of those leading to instant put-backs with his quick second bounce. Nas has some explosiveness in transition, a shifty handle that allows him to get to the rim off the dribble, and the strength to finish through contact.
Dino Cook Dino Cook 6'4" | SF Kingdom Prep | 2023 State WI Jr. (6’5 2023 SF, Kingdom Prep Lutheran)- Dino scored a team high 18 points for Kingdom Prep in their game on Saturday. the 6’5 forward was automatic in the post, and showed great patience to get high percentage looks. His hook shot with his right hand rarely missed, and he also showed signs of passing vision from the block. Kept the ball secured and was able to find slashing teammates towards the basket. Does well to play off two feet which allows him to keep his balance when he goes up to finish.
Damien Brookshire (6’5 2022 W, Milwaukee Academy of Science)- The senior sleeper prospect had another strong game over the weekend, putting up 16 points on just 7 attempts from the field. He’s an efficient scorer, who despite being surrounded by talent, has managed to put up solid scoring numbers on limited shot attempts. At 6’5 he’s a long and athletic wing, but doesn’t rely on his physical attributes. Damien can step outside and knock down outside shots, going 3-5 from beyond the arc in a win over Chicago Perspective School.
Dejuan Graise Dejuan Graise 6'4" | SG AZ Compass Prep Black | 2024 State AZ (6’1 2024 G, Kenosha Tremper)- The skilled sophomore guard finished with 8 points in Tremper’s win over Kingdom Prep. Showed some nice shot creation ability, as he has a smooth handle to create separation on the perimeter. Plays with a nice change of pace and wasn’t afraid of going up against size inside. He’s been a nice addition to this Tremper team, averaging 6.7 ppg to start his sophomore year.
