Ty Rogers Ty Rogers 6'7" | PF West Aurora | 2022 State IL (West Aurora – 2022)
Rogers stands at 6’7” with such a versatile game. Combo forward that can be utilized as a small ball four or small forward. He was dominant in the second half scoring 14 of his game high 23 points. Put it on the deck with purpose getting to the rim where he finishes or was fouled converting and-1s. Can post up smaller defenders including a nice spin move on the block. Showed touch on three point shot draining a spot up triple. I came away impressed with how well he passed it on the move. Quick second jump on the glass and is a versatile defender. Really think this is a D2 prospect that is flying under the radar.
Josh Pickett Josh Pickett 6'5" | SG St. Laurence | 2024 State #277 Nation IL (West Aurora – 2024)
Pickett is a top 15 prospect in the 2024 class. The 6’4” guard has a great frame with strength and athleticism. Played on the ball quite a bit more than we had seen in the past. Showed a solid passing feel in the half court. Aggressive on ball defender that got into his man. Shot wasn’t falling early but he stuck with it hitting three huge ones late on his way to 15 points. D1 prospect.
Isaiah Siler (West Aurora – 2022)
Siler stands at 6’0” with a sniper stroke from the perimeter. Connected on four triples in the win. Free and easy release off the catch and drained a sick step back as well in the 16 point outing. Solid small college prospect at the D3 or NAIA level.
Andrew Kolich (West Aurora – 2023)
Kolich has nice size on the perimeter at 6’4”. This understated small forward drained some key shots from mid-range during the game for 6 points.
Jason Jakstys Jason Jakstys 6'10" | C Yorkville | 2024 State #141 Nation IL (Yorkville – 2024)
Jakstys is an emerging talent in the 2024 class. The 6’8” five man has such a bright future. Mobile post that can handle it a little and shoot from mid-range. Scored and passed on cuts in the half court. Displayed athleticism around the rim. Swatted a three-point shot. Rebounded well throughout the game. Finished through contacts on multiple occasions including an and-1 to send the game to OT. Went for 16 points. Mid-majors and low-majors need to put him on your watch list of sophomores!
Justin Jakstys Justin Jakstys 6'8" | C Yorkville | 2022 State IL (Yorkville – 2022)
Older brother is a versatile power forward that can stretch the floor with his shooting hitting a spot up three and was nifty scoring around the hoop for 8 points. At 6’8” he has major upside at a small college.
John Swarn (Yorkville – 2022)
Swarn is a 5’10” point guard that lit it up from three in this game. Drained several of them along with mid-range jumpers along with using his speed in the open floor for 15 points. NAIA/D3 sleeper.
LeBaron Lee (Yorkville – 2023)
Junior is an undersized four at 6’3” with a big upper body. The lefty has an excellent feel for scoring on the interior and plays taller than his height with long arms. Nimble footwork and touch on the block along with crashing the offensive glass. He had 13 points. Projects as a small college player.
