Blake Pistro (2022) New Albany
Pistro plays his tail off and did a solid job being the interior guy for New Albany in their livestreamed game against Dunbar. True low post threat with his ability to grab rebounds consistently and box out guys. Not the most athletic player on this New Albany team but plays his role and does it well.
Justin Perry Justin Perry 6'7" | PF New Albany | 2022 State OH (2022) New Albany
Perry might be the best overall prospect on this list. The 6-foot-7 senior stretches the floor and almost could play the Wing. Inside-out potential as he can work on the perimeter or on the block. Very confident with the ball in his hands and really is a solid ball-handler for a guy his size. Easily a D2 level prospect in my book with high ceiling as he enters senior year.
Tanner Smart (2023) Carroll
Smart is a bit undersized for a PF, but his physicality and versatility is what makes him an intriguing prospect. Controlled the glass and showed he could step out and knock down the midrange shot when the paint is taken away. Defended Jackson McGohan well. High hustle player. Fits how Carroll wants to play basketball and can be a nice duo with Sean McKitrick as the season progresses.
Cameron Sly (2024) Chaney
Sly put on a clinic against Reynoldsburg as the sophomore big man bullied on the blocks. Utilized his gigantic frame to secure rebounds at a high level. Plays a little out of control when attacking the rim as he had two charges against him in the first half. Sly could become a scholarship PF as he continues to grow and develop the offensive game.
