December 29th Spaulding at Montpellier
Andrew Trottier, Spaulding, Class 2022, position G
Andrew is a guard with a good skill set, and good shooting abilities. Andrew has had multiple three pointers in a few games so far this season. Andrew is a good on ball defender and forces a lot of turnovers. Watch out for Andrew in the game on Wednesday.
Cole Benoit, Spaulding, Class 2022, Position C
Cole is a skilled center, who is a paint protector, and can also stretch the floor. Cole has really improved his shot. Cole is a good shot blocker, and does a good Job rebounding, and making an outlet pass off a rebound. Making good outlet passes is an underrated skill. Cole has a good touch around the rim.
Andrew Tringe, Montpelier, Position G, Class 2023
Andrew has been putting up big numbers for Montpelier. In a recent game against Champlain Valley Union he had 26 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assists, 1 steal. Andrew is a scorer. In the game Andrew was very good in transition, running the fast breaks well. Andrew was also good in the half court offense as well. He showed how he can score in multiple ways. Andrew is a player to watch in the game this week against Spaulding.
Rashid Nikiema, Montpelier, Class 2022, Position G
Rashid has a versatile skill set. He can shoot from the outside, and can also be a slasher. Rashid has a quick release, and is good at getting to his spots fast. Rashid also rebounds the ball very well for a guard. Rashid has been putting up good numbers for Montpelier, and I expect that to continue against Spaulding.
December 29th
Windsor Vs Proctor
Bryson Bourn, Proctor, position G/SF, Class 2023
Bryson had a standout game this season against TwinField. Bryson had 30 points, 4 assists, and 9 rebounds. Bryson is a scorer, and can score in multiple ways. Bryson is a player Proctor can count on when they need a basket. Bryson has a versatile skill set. Bryson rebounds the ball very well for his size. Bryson is proving he can take his game to the next level, and is a player to watch in the game against Windsor.
