These student athletes all share common traits such as an endless motor, high intensity, passion for the game and a tireless work ethic. Let’s take a deeper look below:
2022 Travis King Travis King 6'2" | CG Trinity Christian | 2022 State FL – Fort Pierce Central High School – Travis who stands at 6’7 has been a handful for opposing teams thus far this season. Travis is averaging over 12 points per game to go along with 6 rebounds and shooting 71% rom the field through 8 games. He is a big reason why his team is off to a 6-2 start as they enter the John Carroll Holiday Tournament later this week. Travis has solid footwork, can finish at the rim and has a nice mid range jumpshot. Travis does a great job with the pick and roll game with the guards and uses his body well with on and off the ball screens. He has a college ready frame and is looking to have a strong finish to his senior season.
2024 Tony Colebrook Tony Colebrook 6'2" | SF John Carroll | 2024 FL Jr – John Carroll Catholic High School – Tony who is averaging 7 points and 4 rebounds a game is having a solid sophomore season. Tony contributes in all areas and goes hard on both ends of the court. Tony is a lockdown defender who is very fast and can finish at the rim. Tony has an endless motor and is a standout dual sport athlete and a big reason why John Carroll is off to their best start in school history at 10-0. Look for Tony to have a solid 2nd half of the season and get used to hearing this young man’s name.
2023 Darious Moore Darious Moore 5'11" | PG Morningside | 2023 FL – Morningside Academy – DJ as he goes by is having a solid junior season at Morningside Academy averaging 14 points a game with a majority of his points coming from beyond the arc where he is averaging 56% which puts him currently amongst the Top 20 shooters in the state. DJ can get hot in a hurry and scores in bunches when he has the hot hand. He is a big reason why Morningside is 9-0 and off to their best start in school history.
2022 Jack Pierrelus – Martin County High School – Jack who is a dual sport standout student athlete is having a solid season averaging over 10 points and 6 rebounds per game. Jack brings the energy every time he is on the floor and seems to always give his team a spark at just the right time. Jack always finds himself around the basket and uses his body well which leads to easy buckets in the paint. Jack goes hard on both ends of the floor and looks solid in transition. Martin County is currently the #1 ranked team in Palm Beach Treasure Coast at 10-0 and Jack has been a key piece of the team’s success thus far this season.
