Here are some of the best performances from the Indiana High School Basketball scene Tuesday evening.
- Aidan Lambert Aidan Lambert 6'3" | SG Snider | 2022 State IN (Fort Wayne Snider H.S. 2022) went off for 40 points in Snider’s season-opening 85-62 win over East Noble. Backcourt running-mate Karson Jenkins Karson Jenkins 6'1" | PG Fort Wayne Snider | 2022 State IN (Fort Wayne Snider H.S. 2022), a Barry University commit, added 26 points.
- Christian Nunn Christian Nunn 6'3" | SF L'anse Creuse North | 2022 State IN (Crispus Attucks H.S. 2022) scored a game-high 32 points in Attucks’ 86-41 win over Purdue Polytechnic.
- Illinois-Chicago signee Jalen Jackson Jalen Jackson 6'2" | PG Fort Wayne Northrop | 2022 State IN (Fort Wayne Northrop H.S. 2022) continued his strong start to the season with a 32-point, 13-rebound performance against New Haven. Northrop is now 2-1 on the season after the 61-51 victory.
- Sharp-shooting wing Rasheed Jones Rasheed Jones 6'6" | SF Arsenal Tech | 2022 State IN (Arsenal Tech H.S. 2022) led the way with 22 points and 5 rebounds in Tech’s 80-64 win over Tindley. For more on that game, read the game report.
- Connor Essegian Connor Essegian 6'4" | SG Central Noble | 2022 State #170 Nation IN (Central Noble H.S. 2022) poured in 33 points in a blowout victory over Hamilton. The Wisconsin commit also became Central Noble’s all-time leading scorer eclipsing the 1741 point mark.
- Branden Northern Branden Northern 5'11" | PG Silver Creek | 2022 State IN (Silver Creek H.S. 2022) scored 30 points in the Dragons 73-40 win over Charlestown. He has hit the 30-point mark in both of their games so far this season.
- Josh Furst Josh Furst 6'6" | C Blackhawk Christian | 2023 State IN (Blackhawk Christian 2023) and Gage Sefton Gage Sefton 6'4" | SG Blackhawk Christian | 2023 State IN (Blackhawk Christian 2023) scored 20 and 17 points respectively in their 71-65 win over Class 4A Fort Wayne North. Despite losing Mr. Basketball Caleb Furst to graduation, the Braves made a point early that they will still be a force in Class 2A this season.
- Josiah Dunham Josiah Dunham 6'0" | PG Evansville Christian | 2024 State IN (Evansville Christian 2024) had another strong showing putting up a game-high 23 points in their win over Apollo (KY).
- Taray Howell Taray Howell 5'8" | PG Evansville Bosse | 2024 State IN (Evansville Bosse 2024) scored 27 points for Bosse but the Bulldogs came up short to Jasper 76-71.
- A.J. Lux A.J. Lux 6'3" | SG Crown Point | 2023 State IN (Crown Point H.S. 2023) poured in five three-pointers in the second quarter on his way to 20 points to lead the Bulldogs to 45-35 win over Illiana Christian.
