2023 Ty Owens St Lucie West Centennial High School – The junior guard has been dominant early on this season averaging over 20 points per game and doing it all for his team that is now 6-0. Ty dropped 30 against Palm Beach Gardens and then followed up that performance by dropping 23 against local rival Treasure Coast High School. Ty is a veteran on the travel circuit and put in a ton of work before the start of High School season and that hard work is paying off. Ty is a consistent outside shooter and uses nice combination moves to get to the basket. He goes hard on both ends of the floor and is the type of player you want on your team. Looks like he will be a Top 3 player in the area if he keeps up his hot start which I am confident he will. This is a player and team to keep an eye on the rest of the season. Big games to keep an eye on for this team will be 12/10 against Fort Pierce Central, 12/14 against Vero Beach and 12/20 against Wellington.
2022 Roger Walters Roger Walters 5'10" | PG Centennial | 2022 State FL St Lucie West Centennial High School – This electrifying guard can do it all and has been a big reason why this team is 6-0 thus far. Roger is explosive and can hurt you with his speed that enables him to get to the rim with ease. He is averaging 18 points per game and will look to continue his hot streak against some tough opponents coming up later in December. This young man is a lot of fun to watch.
2024 Elijah Duval Elijah Duval 6'2" | SG Martin County | 2024 #118 Nation FL Martin County – Jah led his team to a big victory over Riviera Prep out of Miami dropping 26 points and hitting some clutch shots down the stretch. Jah uses his body extremely well and is a very versatile player. He gets to the basket with ease and is one of the best finishers I have seen around the rim. What is even more impressive about the win is playing without standout senior Ryan Davis Ryan Davis 6'4" | CG Martin County | 2022 State FL who is out with an injury. County is now 3-0 and the schedule eases up a bit until a big matchup on January 5th against currently undefeated Centennial. As I continue to say Jah will bea Top 10 player in the class of 2024 this young man is special.
2022 Damon Leigh Morningside Academy – DJ as he goes by is nearly averaging a triple double thus far for the 6-0 Eagles. He is lightning quick and can hurt you from multiple areas on the court. He has a consistent outside shot and can finish at the rim while displaying advanced ball handling skills and athleticism. The 6-0 Eagles are off to their best start in school history and will travel to IMG for a 12/11 matchup against one of the best programs in the state. I also believe DJ will be a Top 3 scorer overall in the area this season and expect the Eagles to continue making a lot of noise in the Treasure Coast area.
