Kyler D’Augustino Kyler D’Augustino 6'1" | CG Albany Alexander | 2023 State OH , 6’0 CG Alexander 2023: D’Augustino went over 1,000 points for his career in a tough loss to Warren for the host Spartans. D’Augustino was double-teamed all game and still found a way to finish with over 30 points. D’Augustino makes some tough shots and has a smooth step-back jumper with range. I’m very excited to see D’Augustino with some talent this spring when he plays with the Mid Ohio Pumas on the Adidas Gold Circuit.
Bede Lori Bede Lori 6'2" | SG Caldwell | 2023 State OH , 6’2 SG Caldwell 2023: Lori put up buckets for Caldwell against unbeaten Trimble in a tough loss for the previously unbeaten Redskins. Lori has one of the best jumpers in the state and that was on display all night. Lori also had some nice finishes going to his left, showing his ability to beat you in either direction. Lori is one of the top small school scorers in the state and a guy college coaches will want to watch when he teams up with D’Augustino in the spring and summer.
Steele Meister Steele Meister 6'4" | PF Newark | 2024 State OH , 6’4 PF Newark 2024: Meister has a bully-ball approach that was met by Division I football prospect Will Futhey. After trying to outmuscle him in the first couple possessions, Meister then settled into the game by knocking down some 3-pointers that helped Newark take leads at multiple key stages in the game. Meister also did some ball-handling against the full-court pressure Waverly was throwing at the Wildcats. Meister had a huge game against Pickerington Central in an early season upset and continued to show why he’s regarded as one of the better wing forward prospects in central Ohio’s 2024 class.
Tariq Cottrill Tariq Cottrill 5'9" | PG Federal Hocking | 2024 State OH , 5’9 PG Federal Hocking 2024: Cottrill had a tough match-up as Aiden Porter Aiden Porter 6'1" | PG Fairland | 2022 State OH guarded him after the Sophomore got some early buckets on Fairland. After that, it was tough for Cottrill to do much against the senior scoring wise. I like Cottrill’s ability to create space and his confidence to pull-up in the mid-range area. Cottrill has already scored over 30 points in a game this season and flashed some of that same offensive talent. Cottrill has the ability to put-up big-time numbers in the TVC as an upperclassman and will likely be on radars of small college coaches heading into his senior season if he continues to develop.
